Yeah, the JPs I killed it with last night said that as well. I came on PLD to the fight and quickly found out that I was pretty much useless. They had something like 5 summoners on it just tearing it apart. When I would pull hate and start to kite it I would pretty much eat an instant-cast thundaga-4 and die lol. I would strongly suggest the method they used. Get them some corsairs or bards or some sort of refresh and watch them do work. The fight took about 30 mins or so and went very smoothly. Btw they were all raping it with Garuda.

That's what he's saying with full elemental magic skill gear, he says he's at 364 elemental magic skill, he says some were resists. So, for next fight i'll bring a mule or something just to SS damages and stuff for proof or seeing if its BS or something, I couldnt mid fight cause I was on PLD.

Atma gets its own icon I believe (Thundercats, ho!), so it should stack.

I would doubt it stacks with RDM refresh...since it's 5/tick the RDM version will most likely have no effect

From the Abyssea explanation page on the POL website. Atma gets its own singular icon, so any effects it gives will stack with anything else.

Unless I'm being whooshed, Sublimation has it's own icon and doesn't stack with Refresh.

Sublimation does not stack with RDM/FoV/Drink Refresh. It does stack with Songs/Rolls.

Does the throat stab move consistently kill you or is it just when you are doing an action that changes your hp? When fighting the t2 vnm we noticed that the stab move hp calculation is done before the attack goes off so if you flip your hp, as in a cure kit or other macros that may lower your hp, you will die. Also can you tank him against a wall so his conal aoe's will hit no one like the regular ones in xarc s?

I dunno about the throat stab thing, but I wouldn't recommend tanking it against the wall. Firstly, you CAN'T put the tanks together. They need to be on opposite sides pretty much or Feral Peck will eat up both of them then you are screwed. Preferably three tanks is best if you are going to use PLD's at all. Just set up in a triangle around it. Second reason the wall is overrated is because the knockback aura is so strong it will usually slide you across the wall until it pushes you OFF the wall. Kinda hard to explain I guess but unless you are perfectly centered in a perfect spot in the wall, you are gonna go flying off to the side anyway.

Thinking the best way to do it is just kite it and garuda the shit out of it.

The reason I ask is because with normal tp moves from this kind of mob you can avoid most all of them by aiming the mob to the side, standing in a wedged corner so it can't knock you back and then most of its hits will just attack air. Even if it works though, yeah having both tanks on the same spot would be a liability but if it works, would you even need 2?
