I just saw Turul on ground, untargettable. He's just wandering around, and he won't aggro.
Has anyone else seen him do that before?

If that's the case, then it glitches to everyone in the zone.... and, it wouldn't be showing up in mappy

Nope, we took a couple parties to fight it and it wouldn't aggro at all (We're on the same server).

Anyone have a good strat for Fistule? Our first try wasn't very successful. Specifically, what do you do with the adds? Pull away from the alliance and let despawn? Trying to fight them doesn't appear to be a good strat.

Drag the adds away.

Fistule itself doesn't have much HP backing it.

Turul has been Glitched on Phoenix for about 3 days now. Was just chillin, watching us kill Eve last night.

Anyone /nin can kite adds, pointless killing cause they pop 2 more and have a few hps.

No reason to waste your SJ on NIN. Any job with movement speed can depop them easily. You should never get hit.

How on earth do I take acceptable photo's for The Soul of the Matter quest?

I found Pavan, locked on, stood right in front of it about 0.7 yalms away (literally couldn't get any closer) took a few photo's and every one was rejected.

Any advice to get something acceptable?

same mistake as I did, you were too close to the target. around normal melee range is good distance for this quest, I took Kukulkan picture at around 7-8 yalm and it was accepted too.

So I've been trying to FIND turul for a few times when I planned on finishing the quest for abyssite of merit... but I can't ever seem to run into him. Is he generally roaming where the bugard mobs are?

He sometimes wanders a fair bit west of that area, but yes.

Kite it to the rock near #5 (not the huge mountain). SCH RDM BLM BLM BLM BLM takes it down in 20 minutes. Use Ice only and try and stun the -ga. It casts thundaga3/4, thunder4/5 on itself to heal it and it has 50% -MDT at the least. ASA Atma is a godsend for this fight, he runs at +20% movement speed, but you can easily gain distance around the rock. It has a pretty significant regen on it, I would say at least 1% every 30-60 seconds, so try and keep Bio/Helix up on it. Its never a very dangerous fight, just annoying and long. A healer is nice because he has extreme fast cast and shell4 helps with mitigating the damage taken from -ga. Haven't got atma yet.

Hard to get the atma when you don't use elemental weaponskills =P

We got atma and abyssite first time killing Ovni before it moved at crazy flee speeds with a manaburn setup without triggering the !!. Pic below
