Abyssea - Konschtat Discussion

And a correction; there's one Abyssea shell on my server I know of, and I have been unable to align my playtime to show up. The rest are offshoots of preexisting HNM shells that used a shared point pool from other activities. If you know something I don't Massimo, enlighten me.

Of course there's plenty of Abyssea shells, it's the only worthwhile event these days. Most will just be smaller and won't be advertising it. You don't need 18 people to be a linkshell. I personally run a group that I'm sure you didn't know about.

Was there a melee that used the brew at some point? I haven't seen anything mentioned ever.

The whole Hundred Fists + Mighty Strikes thing is just something that was made up a few months ago. No one's publically popped a Primal Brew on a DD yet afaik.

RDM/NIN x2 THF/WHM (assuming you want TH, otherwise any job /WHM can work) should have no problems as far as I can see. Bounce with nukes, THF erase slow and diaga > depop adds.

But is there any way around Refuel and Replenish (Konschtat) to get fame in Abyssea-Konschtat instead ?

I tried to do that but it seems no one use mortelloes ever in there , so they're always have >90% of their bars D: , any other way to get fame w/o having to do this quest ?

Do the starting quest series until you can turn in pictures, then pop a Tier 1 VNM and snap a dozen pics of it slept at 100% HP. Turn them in (one every game day) and then do it again if you don't have as much fame as you'd like.

if you have a friend who already has enough fame to do Mightier Martellos, get him to upgrade and zone out without reporting back to the Outfitter a few times...

alternatively, get a bunch of people to use the Martello at the same time

other than that, I don't think theres a work-around at all.

First quest you can do to a martello that is 100% ; for actual refuel and replenish the best method i've found is gather some friends and travel to a martello and have them do a mp restore. If they are fame3+ also ask them to do an upgrade to it. 4 people draining 30 from a base 999 martello is enough for a replenish. Using the upgrade option and a mp restore is a min 80 fuel per person (180 if a superior upgrade).

Pretty sure someone with a melee whm on these boards popped a brew and hexa striked a Glavoid(?) down w/ uncapped skills and no haste gear- though with a bit of support. So the whole Hundred Fists thing would probably work.

Yea the brew also gives like 999 store TP so they were pretty much constantly WSing

Hope Blooms on the Battlefield, Of Malnourished Martellos, Refuel and Replenish (Konschtat) are required quests in order to get rank 2 fame. There's no getting around Refuel and Replenish, and it's the only rank 1 quest that's repeatable. That's the problem. I just got some LS people to help. Alternately, if you can find someone killing Khalamari, you can usually get them to use the Martello near conflux #3 if there's enough people in their party.

Attohwa is annoying in the same way (only repeatable is that shitty amoeban legsx3 quest), but at least you can do Resistance Ops once per game day to get around it.

He isnt to bad but delta thrust can fuck you up, If you straight tank

Rng isnt bad for kite fight either but just bring atleast 2 blm to keep it around 30min

Tried to pop Gangly Gean for an hour last night, killed all Saplings spawns in the area twice, mainly focused on the ones in the middle (f-10) I think. No go. Popped Guimavie after 30mins to have it stolen by a single Rdm... Got it back to pop Fistule. Tried low manning it cuz of people timeing out, Pld Rdm Blm Whm Sch Nin. 8% and started to get annoying due to Hate issues ( does he hate reset? ) and the Dissolve move. After it went Yellow and im assuming because I the popper left the zone it went un-targetable again. Just my 2 cents.

How long do you estimate that would take with 5? Planning to do this with 12~ Mix of Blmpt with Cor and then a Random Pt with like Rng Brd Pup Drk.
