Is the Azure Abyssite of the reaper a permanent key item or do you have to go kill the NM every time you zone in and want a 10% cruor bonus?
Permanent until found otherwise.
heard someone talking abt some Amphiptere before somewhere in this thread
so i just gotta post a SS for anyone that is curious
http://mectradegroup.com/FFXI/kons.JPG
i saw it popped right infront of me and flew up into the sky too........it was a dramatic pop animation i must say
huge circular whirlwind and he jumped up
That thing aggros neither Khalamari nor Raskovnik.
Any known drops from khalamari yet?
yea he loads that way
i dont always see it so i find it dramatic ^^
Well if the Blob aggros a flan.. And both are Amorphs... Maybe it will aggro a Dragon NM? Though it's technically classified as a Bird for whatever reason (Like bats...)... Though closest thing in zone are imps, which coincedentally have a Timed spawn NM, same as Flan(?).
I'd think that Bakka is the "lure" through process of elimination...
Seems like Bakka is a little far to be the aggro target.
Try the hippo guys, its tall ^_^
But seriously, if someone comes SCH and does a manifestation enfeeble on a mob right under the dragon, it could possibly hit it? I've never tried it on amphipteres but I know it works on UFO.
Also...since Guimeave is not a pop NM is it safe to assume he drops one of the "AF3" accessories as well?
Is the Hippogryph "up" or lotto or popped? I forgot they are "Birds" too. That might actually work. Lame Idea though... SE might have given the Flan/Slime proximity to give us a leg up on this kind of 'pop'... Saying: "hey here, you might do it by accident; cause it's the only place to really fight it, and that big blob never aggroed before... But for the other one you will have to drag shit accross the zone...."
Hippo is trigger popped off a bugard drop.
The theory I like best is (Spira's?) that the three out-of-reach NMs (the Amphiptere in Konschtat, the Yovra in la Theine, and the Antlion in Tahrongi) are aggro'd with the very weak avatars of unknown use (Pavan, Akash, and Bhumi).
Fistule is kind of odd though, because it makes Konschtat have 2 of these types of NMs when the other zones have only one.
