Mictlantecuhtli isn't that hard to spell, c'mon guys.
Mictlantecuhtli isn't that hard to spell, c'mon guys.
Hmmm was fighting Glavoid and didn't went well..
Apparently it has 2-3 modes.
mode#1 takes physical dmg , absorb all magical dmg
mode#2 takes magical dmg , absorbs all physical dmg
mode#3 while changing between mode 1 and 2 takes 0 dmg from both magic and physical.
Casts high teir earth magic like Quake II , Stonega IV , Slowga
Susceptible to Stun.
Uses AoE WS move like
Slaverous Gale - Frontal* AoE with disease
Aerelion* Gale - Frontal* AoE with silence
Disgorge
idk if any of these info would be of any help
Idk i was a mage up a stupid hill can't see much. But i didn't see any 2hr animation. PLD says it changes mode after every WS or spell.
Only got a few pictures of us fighting which doesn't provide any useful info. As for what keyitems idk too... i'm basically a leech just tagging along my JP friends knowing they going to try this NM to see if i can get any useful tips :/ sorry if these aren't any help.
edit* the popper just replied my /tell
pop item was
Fat-lined cockatrice skin
Luxuriant manticore mane
Sticky gnat wing
Sodden sandworm husk
Not a hard NM has relatively low hp.
brb getting 50 Glavoid shells.
For Mictlantecuhtli has anyone tested to see if avatar blood pacts heal/damage based off of if it's physical or not? I'd assume so, but want confirmation before I put together a fail strat for my group and get PWNd.
Also, safe to assume it uses standard Corse moves?
In 6hr farm session last night we acquired *Sticky Gnat Wing, Chipped Sandworm Tooth, Mossy Adamantoise Shell, Fat-lined Cockatrice Skin, and a plethora of the lower tier nm pop items.
*to expand upon Cichy's earlier post, regarding roaming nms.
I don't know if it was noted yet however, that amber chests can also contain multiple (2-3) pop items, including duplicates. These also tend to be smaller sized chests.
Was the chipped sandworm tooth in a large gold chest or small?
you'll have to forgive me cause i spent 6hrs spamming chests and calling out killshots etc, but as i recall, all of the Key Items were from large chests.
we had a very successful run last night and everything we did to contour drops seemed to work. i believe we're going again tonight and i'll be able to keep better track of chest sizes+item contents.
How long did it take to start getting large gold chests. We went for 3.5 hours last night and were swimming in chests and only ever got small gold ones.
after the 3 hour mark i want to say gold chests were popping very frequently (for us, seemed like groups of 3 every 10 minutes or so).
we basically capped our azure first (1k cruor, 1250 exp, etc. blue chests) and started a mix of ws and melee kills to build ruby and pearlescent lights. it seemed we could control chest pops very easily by forcing blue chests with magic kills and red chests with ws kills; so-far as i could tell, amber is capped when you reach the ginormous gold chests. pearlescent seems to increase frequency of chests.
the longer we were in there, the more varied our chests became regardless of what was used to kill the mob. chests were spawning every kill, and for every ~5 blue chests we seemed to get ~3 gold, and ~2 red.
when bringing newcomers to the alliance, their lights are not capped so when they get a killing blow , chest spawns start out rare or are lower level. about 3 hours in, people who had just replaced other members were spawning 500exp chests and low level restore chests. don't let them get killing blows until they have been brought up to level.
i know that some of this information is just being reiterated, but i hope this helps.
Is Minhocao immune to stun? If not, can gorge/disgorge be stunned at all? Even if it just delays it from using the attack for the duration of stun?
