Seeing as we don't have confirmed reports with pics on lacovie we haven't verified the zone boss claim but I wouldn't dismiss the idea of lacovie being zoneboss since it does make sense even if it doesn't follow the other 2 zones trends. Looking back at his pop location being in adamantoise camp, it kinda makes sense.. Also because ifvwe assumed iratham popped there, lacovie didn't have a pop location...

Of course at this point it'd also mean that iratham wouldn't have a known pop ??? other than the hidden one, which might probably surface once someone eligible to pop him surfaces..

Lastly.. Tahrongi IS the zone we understand the least about so I hope any info that comes about is true and leaves us with less to solve

It seems like it would make sense that Lacovie would be popped from the ??? needing the Chipped Sandworm Tooth and the Overgrown Mandragora Flower since it's located directly next to the mini adamantoises. But then again, when does SE make sense?

I Dont know if its been stated directly, but to move from Fame 0 to Fame 1 you have to do His Box his Beloved 1x and Weapons not Worries 7 times.

And as far other zone bosses go, have they been found to drop key items at all? Perhaps Irathem is the entire abyssea megaboss and you need the key item drop from all of the other zones to be able to pop him. This would make things severely suck since that would require you to rely on a single person to pop every single NM in every single zone that's used to progress towards a zone boss.

It could be that the ??? spawn target for him won't appear until a server has reached the highest "priming" or whatever to draw out the stronger enemies. There's 15 ??? targets in each zone right? So if it were true and you go look in the dats Tahrongi would have 16. I'll take a look at that.

The zone bosses don't have drop key items because all the nm popping key items that are grouped together have been accounted for.. Only one I see was crimson bloodstone but that's grouped with quest key items so probably not. It's possible he may not even require pop items somehow.. Or maybe ride to title drops or demilune abyssite, or even quest popped.

If he's not zone boss I do doubt he'll be anything less.. So it's likely expansion boss

Bringing Down the Mountain - Fame 3
Talk to Diegai at the border of H/I-7 near conflux7. Now travel to J-8 and speak to Baladanzo. Defeat Bog Body Qutrub mobs around J-5 until they drop a "Gunpowder Swathe" item. Return to Baladanzo and trade him the gunpowder. He requests 50 gunpowder swathes... I handed in 3 so far and that's as far as I am. What the balls. No one farms these damn things so good luck with this. Reward better be good...
Rewards 100 cruor for every gunpowder turned in. You can trade them again without zoning out.

Sisters in Crime - Fame 4
Speak to Bopa Greso at I-10. She gives you key item "Hastily Scrawled poster". Now go check all 4 Signs in Tahrongi-A in any particular order. The first one is at I-8/9 north of Bopa Greso. Another is at H-9 nearby conflux2. A third is at G-7 south of conflux4. And a fourth sign is at H-6 by conflux6. After checking all 4 to attach posters return to Bopa Greso. Rewards probably vary, I got 2 Water Spider's Webs (no cruor). Quest is repeatable after zoning.

The only thing that bothers me about that is the placement of the 16th ??? in the dats, why is it seperate from the others?

Ok well I just checked. All 3 zones only have 15 ??? targets bundled together in the list. Tahrongi and LaTheine however both have a 16th ??? target but it is listed much further down by the quest or debug stuff. So it could just be that. Konschtat doesn't have a "misc." one though. I know I've never seen any ??? targets in Tahrongi that aren't already known.

Irathem is going to require 1 Two-leaf Chloris Bud, 1 Glavoid Shell, 1 Helm of Briareus, 1 Carabosse's Gem, 1 Fistule Discharge, 1 Kukulkan's Fang, and 1 Flint stone to pop. Anybody have any idea which NM drops the stone?

But in all seriousness, I could see SE doing something like this, making getting empyreans even harder! Unless, of course, Irathem drops base empyreans. >.>; I suppose we can dream, right? Assuming that the hidden ??? that Nynja found was Irathem, we can safely assume that it'll require something to pop it. And I believe that everything is accounted for right? So that leaves something that's already dropped elsewhere, such as an empyrean drop. Though I really hope that I'm completely wrong and onto nothing!

That seems worse than my idea. >.>; Unless of course you took a static group of 18 for that entire 2m farming run and built up 18 pops simultaneously!

I think it's more likely to be in something we don't realize..
For all we know iratham could be popped with nothing at all.. Tho that doesn't make sense. Would be cool if we k ew what that ??? happens to say

Or maybe you need to be under the effects of the brew for the ??? to become visible on your screen.

Whats the minimal time / stones you need to do a 6hr long abyssea? My linkshell is interested in doing these super long EXP runs and I am trying to organize something before next week. Doesn't have to be THAT long but how long would a run with 1 1/2 - 2 hours saved up get us?

Pretty common from Ephemeral Limule/Clionid, if I recall correctly.

Also, you can trade temporary items, as it is required in some Assaults, but I'm still firm on my belief that 2,000,000 cruor isn't to pop a NM but to get some fucking guaranteed/doube drops or some shit.

Better be x10 drops from any item lol, that would make 20 gems drop off that pixie... but now that you guys mention it, using the brew to make the ??? pop sounds so lame that SE might have done that. Can't wait to get the crour so I can see what it does.
