Has Flare II as well as flare. Used Bene at 50 and 37~35 this time. No drops or Abyssite.

Me and a few friends have been killing Mictlantecuhtli (the corse NM) recently, we've gotten 1 pair of cuffs off him so far (with a bunch of habits no one needs).

We've never been able to get a !! out of him, has anyone that's fought him had any luck?

5 kills. 1 cuffs. 0 nodowas. The habits sell pretty quickly for 150k each on Titan, at least.

killed Quetzalli twice this run, got Ziel Charm and metallon mantle of first, mantle only of 2nd.
also got Viridian Abyssite of Avarice of first kill, not 2nd

Serpentes Cuffs are definitely a high drop rate, my shell is 6 kills 5 Cuffs 1 neck. Would say you're just unlucky.

RE: The Bhumi -> Quetzalli theory:

We were just killing Lachrymater, and then Bhumi walked by going northeast... Followed immediately by Quetzalli. We tried to chase down the bird after killing our Lachrymater, but it seemed to have either depopped already, or was outside of the path posted earlier.

I am 0/5 and 1/5 on neck. Three habits too. Alot of people seem to be unlucky :/.

My group is close to 50% on Serp Cuffs. Dunno exact numbers. Th4, and we attempt to get !!'s, but often don't.

Only 3 OAT things is, odd to say the least. That's with TH?

If its worth anything, overall from all the prespawn NMs my group is 24/27 on the "other drop" and 3/27 on JSE pieces.

No TH here, so I'm not really complaining on the crappy drop rates. We duo it MNK SAM with a dualboxed RDM.

Noone said they can't be up the same time.. it was only said Quetzalli is popped and starts his walk when both die.

Edit: If it depopped after the pics as you said, that means Bhumi had already repopped before Quetzalli had a chance to finish his path and depop.

Bleh, the BLM keeps bio up full time.

We just killed again and tried everything from banish, cures, even tried using koki.

3/3 cuffs 0/3 neck, would just assume it's like all abyssea NMs, drops the item alot, and the 'af3' very rarely.

The whole weakness thing is just too random for now, if it turns out to be completely random in the sense that it could be anything on any NM then fuck, good chance you're screwed cause you don't have a job there that can use a certain WS or mage there to use a certain spell.

There's gotta be some kind of consistency, or this is just gonna be Bhaf ramparts version 2.0.

Yesterday I cycled a full blm/whm spell list against Culebre, Gagnagh and Chukwa...nothing triggered any !!'s that I saw, also did every archery WS (except Empyreal which I never unlocked) against Chukwa with no !!'s.
