I got a message(that everyone saw) that I leveled up to 79 in Abyssea - Tahrongi,
the odd part is that I was already level 80 31k into the level at the time of level up! !Resist glitch is one thing ,but this one is new to me lol! anyone else :D(Btw 36k/h in ally xp off the bats there if it was not mentioned)

It's been mentioned elsewhere. As I remember, what happened was that people died, deleveled, got their level back from being raised, and then got the level up animation thousands of EXP later.

Got a Chunk of Cockatrice Tailmeat today from a chest while killing bats. I don't know if it also drops off the Cluckatrice like is being reported, but that is where I got it from.

After about 15+ Hungerer kills, my demilune abyssite finally turned colorful...

A little bit more information about Yearner, Tahrongi's T2 VNM...

Yearner does not have slow movement speed like normal Cravers (or Hungerer). It looked to actually be about +12% or so... With Hermes' Sandals, I was only keeping ahead of it because of the combination of bad pathing and TP moves. It has insanely rapid TP regain and will spam Carousel almost constantly, seldom using any other TP moves, Material Fend (Evasion Boost) if any. Because he almost does nothing besides spam Carousel and since the AoE range is rather small combined with the lumpy terrain... he is ridiculously easy to kite, especially around the Pachypodium valley, which I prefer.

I popped him as 80 PUP/NIN (Spiritreaver) with about 5 minutes left on the clock and I got him down to about 92% from repeatedly resisted Stone Vs. It was a bit more difficult to get nukes off reliably because I was often running out of casting range as it would be stopped, using Carousel/Material Fend.

Either way, with plenty of Pet: MAcc gear on, Stone Vs were doing 160~170 with the occasional 650 unresisted. It resisted a-lot. I was hoping that my Automaton's AI might be able to sense it's elemental weakness and target that, but it was only focusing on Stone V, as usual. Thus, I got no "!!" and ran out of time. I could definitely solo it down with maybe two Traverser Stones and no fuckups... We'll see.

FYI~ The same Stone Vs were doing 900~1900 to Hungerer... I'm not sure which stat that would imply has been boosted on this mob.

Today we decided to pop Vetenhinen. Everything was cool until the last 10%.. it went crazy after that. Spamming TP moves and regening to almost half its HP. Also it was hitting people for 1000~2000 damage. We popped it in fireday if that matters. Any idea how to take it down?

Any feedback will be appreciated. :D

And about the VNM T2, maybe those empty-type mobs have resistance to a certain element just like promy mobs. Did your puppet nuke with anything else besides StoneV?

I didn't experience anything like that w/ Vetehinen. Just his one TP move (Molting something?) kept putting every debuff on Vetehinen on everyone within range. (Which really sucked, helix, burn, choke, shock, dia, elegy, slow, etc. etc.) He did get a little spammy at the end of his life if I recall, but nothing like you're describing.

Since it seemed to be fire-based, we thought it might have gotten stronger in Fireday specially during the noon hours (we were fighting it at 12:00~13:00 vana time.)

I know its TP move, Molted-something Recovers his HP Based on how many people are hit, or how much damage they take.

All of the little crab things are like that.

So thats what coulda happened with the HP Recovery thing =X

Did the Mandy NM today and went 0/3 on the Thew Bomblet.
Went as PLD/WAR SAM/WAR WHM RDM BRD.
Each fight we tryed to find the weakness on him with spells/WS/Ja's
The first fight we didnt find anything that made him go "!!"

The second time we got a green "!!" with flash. but only 4 times during a short time around 60-80%

The third time we got a red "!!" that "Terrord" him for 10sec the first time with Tachi: Jinpu.
And every time i used it after that it shortend the terror duration and after 5-6 (cant remember) it didnt work anymore. Here is a SS of the Red !!. didnt get a SS of the Green !!

Question were you the one to pop the NM? Im trying to figure out if popper has anything to do with triggering weakness. Since popper's seem to obtain key items etc...

The star sapphires dropped from an enormous chest. Just so people dont think they're common.

PLD poped first one: Didnt find weakness
SAM poped second: Flash got the Green !!. I got a Dust Wing temp item from that fight
SAM poped third: Tachi: Jinpu got the Red !!. didnt get anything from it.

the fights lasted around 15min. Was our first time fighting him so went safe.
PLD got hit for 10-40 in PDT gear.

Edit: I contacted the person who found it, they say they aquired the Chipped Tooth from a Mega Chest, the one 3x bigger than normal chests. The chest in question came from Bats.

So no NM found yet
