And this is why I said though theoretically you could swap hate and alternate yellow/claimed amongst your alliance to potentially get like 18 key item drops, this issue arises.

With abyssea getting more and more popular NMs will start actually being camped by linkshells, and soon enough we'll start seeing claiming issues D:

It doesn't. One day I helped someone 4man Chuckwa and it had gone yellow at a few different points with different people acting on it. I was the only one who got the shell key item though. So there's more involved at least.

Those looking for information on Lachymater, just duoed it no problem with SAM and RDM. Took about 15min.

Popped on Icesday, seemed to favour using Frost, Ice Spikes and Enblizzard, but used Blizzard IV, Blizzaga III and Freeze occasionally. (Of course this would change depending on the current day).

It seemed to have a really random fast cast effect and points throughout the fight, I dont know if it has certain modes or anything, but at one point Ice Spikes was instant and Blizzard IV took a second to cast, then next thing it was at normal casting speed. During this "mode" it seems to double attack very frequently and increase its attack speed, then would just go back to normal. Didn't notice anything triggering that but seems something to look out for should anyone attempt it

Shit stays yellow for a long as time if people in your party still have hate and one dies. You know the mob doesn't change claimed to another party THAT fast. You should have just gotten claim back if you were as stable as you claim.

I did this fight with few friends and NM would few times go yellow when we were waiting for it to go out of shell. If you're fighting (as per: timed nuking) something and it goes yellow unexpectedly, you not really have that much chance to claim back against some douche bag sitting there with his dia/poison macros ready to steal. Another thing is, until everyone from party fighting NM is dead/zoned and you get claim, you’ve stolen it, there’s no other way to describe it. If you want to ‘save’ them from death that much when things go wrong, toss them some cures/raises. Reminds me the good old days of camping Bloodsucker, ehh

T2 in Tahrongi doesnt melee. It just spams Carosel aoe. The animation takes along time to wind up so easy to outrun. You can kite it by just walking.

Only tricky part is it keeps shifting elemental weakness depending on the last spell u used. So if you hit it with water first, only thunder will deal full dmg, then stone, and so on. Has about 20k hp. Still does regular tp moves once it has TP so beware of Mirky gas: gravity effect. Again easy to outrun just dont get caught casting spells.

T1 you can sleep/bind/grav so those are a joke.

Secondly it was at 69%

Third: You #¤#¤ stole it when 1 char died and it went unclaimed for 2 seconds!! All 3 chars wasn't dead and it was np that 1 guy went down.

You had a THF, RNG, BLM, PLD and WHM at Chukwa. The THF got -ga4'd and was dead, the RNG was dead already from -ga4. I left it since others were alive. BLM decided to stun Chukwa, and run over to the WHM to MPK him with a -ga4. Good job not being able to kill an easy mob with 5. I let it regen a tick from when the WHM and BLM died, and it was at 92% when I claimed it.

I never said I didn't speak English, the PLD tried bribing me asking if I wanted gil for the mob back, and I knew the THF since they used to be in my LS and was speaking with him in /tell's.

Seriously though, learn to outrun -ga4's and not suck.

So when scouting around for Bhumi, I noticed this on my radar.
I figure its a depop spot because it obviously isn't there on the screen, nor does it have a little skull symbol representing that it died in that position and it's HP is at 100%. Personally, I wasn't aware that Bhumi or any of the other avatar mobs depopped, but these threads are so damn long that its hard to notice small info like that.

I am 100% sure the program is running correctly, because any other instances of Bhumi I came across before this one were dead at 0% HP.

Perhaps there are "pop windows" for things like Myrmecoleon or the antlion family that are dependent upon killing all the instances of Bhumi within that time period, kinda Knight Crab style? I dunno, its an idea.

It might make more sense if it were a Vilma-style "have to leave the Bhumis alive" kind of thing, because they are killed all the time by people wanting the Abyssite of Merit, and that makes sense in conjunction with the fact that we've never seen antlions. Unfortunately this is pretty much impossible to test, because people aren't going to just stop hunting a very good solo-able abyssite.

Similar issue on my server last night, with japanese players offering help then taking a stun cast and dropping alliance/party quickly. 1st time im not sure how it was done but one of the people who was friends with the person chukwa was stolen from offered help and then once he got into party he d2'd them and retrieved the mob lol. then the party leader fucked up and accepted an offer of help from another jp group and they simply stunned it, and dropped. Chukwa is serious business.

I know it was stated in Neo's findings on Glavoid that Disgorge is generally manageable with even only 3 people in front of it, and at one point I believe someone asked about standing behind it to avoid Disgorge and if it worked, but it never really got an answer (unless I overlooked it) - can it be avoided by standing behind it, like Minhocao, or does he turn to use it, unlike Minhocao?
