Ran around a good portion of the zone without sneak, and no Pit Ambushes. Obviously didn't run through sneak-aggro mobs w/o sneak. Also didn't see any new ???. lame

Does anyone recall a cutscene with a Phuz Mannohl in this zone? Her location is on top of the mysterious ??? thats placed in the middle of the zone...

I think this is a wild goose chase, as that ??? corresponds to NPC dialog in a cutscene, usually when a NPC talks before you know who they are. But hey, what do I know...

Can you normally see unspawned Antlions underground with AP Radar? I thought the only reason it worked so well in Sheep in Antlion's Clothing is because you find the real Antlion right away (his first spawn is right outside the entrance). Whenever I duoed it with people, they'd always run around the walls like they couldn't see where the helpers were.

Yes, you can, but (especially at first) it may be hard to judge aggro distance to a mob you can't see (I actually still don't know the exact aggro distance) and it doesn't hurt to be safe. Alternatively, they may be dumb and set the filter to only see Tuchulchulahchjahhjajsdgsajd or w/e.

Her mother, Baha Mannohl, is the NPC for the Viridian Abyssite of Lenity quest, For Love of a Daughter, if you're looking for connections.

What position is this ??? you're talking about? Are you able to target it?

I believe he found it using radar a very {long time} ago.

Use apradar, unlock it, head to the center of the area, between cluckatrice and mandies, you'll find a bunch of non-targetable things, of which was the ???, Phuz Mannohl, and some other shit I stopped trying to filter through.

But, my point, does anyone recall getting a cutscene where a NPC named ??? talks?

Invisible cutscene NPCs will usually appear in places where their cutscene takes place.

I use Mappy (doesn't require any unlock shit or FFACE shit), will see if I can track it down later tonight.

Seems Phaz is right in the middle of that bush. I didn't pick up any ???s on radar, but there was an invisible Sturdy Pyxis in the same spot.

I have the Lenity quest completed, talking to her Baha at Conflux #05 indicated nothing other than she was "healed" due to me completing the quest.
What are the dialog table .DATs for all three Abyssea areas (this info should really be in the OP for each thread for research purposes)?

if the pyxis is hidden still, would probably mean that chunk of the zone is locked. Maybe antlions and irithram will the "a day before the expac" tie-in to scars.

Not sure that's the case. It's normal to find invisible Sturdy Pyxides in certain places in Abyssea zones, and I've never noticed a case where I found one, something different happened in the zone (like tonberry pops or Ovni/Turul aggro, for instance) and that it suddenly moved or disappeared.

I read Wiki, hearing other peoples battle strategies are nice too. This is the place to get feedback not get told to go somewhere else for it. It's like some peoples ignorance comes out in here from the things I read sometimes. I came here for positive feedback.

No offense but there's a lot of info already in this thread. Try to use the search before trying to dictate how people should or shouldn't treat you on a public forum. Just because people have fought it and are knowledgeable of the fight doesn't mean they owe it to you tell you how they did it.
