Farming for key items can be pretty painful via popping the NMs. I feel that hitting blue !! seems to up the rate of getting a key item, that's speculation though.

Based solely on my groups runs, the key item rate on title-giving NMs (Kukulkan, Briareus, Fistule etc) seems way higher than the lowest tier monsters.

Anyway, it's possible that the Antlion is up and doesn't show up on AP radar for whatever reason. It seems weird that two types of NM would be an obvious timed spawn while the third is mysterious late. Antlions agro sound, and frankly I tend to have a great deal of trouble even intentionally agroing them in Attowah. If the Antlion NM was hidden among normal sound-agroing monsters that people don't kill, we may just not have found him yet. I've actually been training random sound-agro mobs around the zone, but again I seem to have trouble agroing Antlions and my paths are limited when I have a giant group following me.

Imagine if Turul was further south and invisible. Would we really know he was there with no one ever walking through Morbolings?

That said, the Antlion's drop pool isn't that impressive. It's probably:
Timarli Jawshan
Aquiline Belt
Tactical Mantle

All the pieces are situationally useful, but it isn't like he drops 7% Haste belts.

Well, if you looked at the drop pattern thus far, you'd switch that Hachimaki and Belt.

Zerg it, use perfect defense or a fanatics powder. A 6man party of BRD COR DNC DDx3 with an added SMN or powder can down it in a minute. Chainspell may be viable(stun never resisted when I fought it), but impalement randomly kills people and it hits very fast and hard during blood weapon, a single attack round can drop someone. I'd really recommend just using the powder.

No disrespect, but there's got to be a "Normal" way to do stuff too.

And while zerging is a tactic, I don't consider it a viable strategy really. If that makes any sense.

So posted four times or not, I'm looking for an actual strategy if at all possible.

Speaking of temp items, for some reason all my temp items disappeared. I had nearly 1 of everything (save for fanatics powder/tonic coincidentally)

Do they reset on Conquest update or maintenance or something?
