If you didn't bring a good stunner? Stun bot on a new computer using only one POL instance doesn't catch it half the time..

It'll only use it a few times per fight, and while it's very fast, it's certainly stunnable. Not worth bringing a stunner for unless you already have one there, but it's still possible to stun the ones it uses during the short fight, just not 100% reliable. Either way, Holy Waters makes it a non-issue.

I wasn't arguing the length/difficulty of the fight or the relevance of doom, but I don't see how anyone can manually stun it with any reliability if my stunbot doesn't even catch it more than 50% of the time.

During linkshell event on Lakshmi, I was off by myself soloing Ephemeral mobs for azure light when I found Iratham up around mandies. I claimed quickly with cannonball and ran to conflux 7 to meet linkshell. Not sure if anythings been reported yet. Here's some linkshell screenshots.

It's not confirmation of anything, I've killed like twelve of them.. belt is 100%, ring's >50%, only one body(Timarli Jawshan) so far. You only need to go back half a page, come on.

You sound a little mad that you can't read. Anyway, interesting that its pops are becoming more frequent on other servers... maybe it does have something to do with antlion. If any other server has antlion up but doesn't have a confirmed iratham pop PM me and I can give you an easy duo myrma strat. Not posting because I don't want tards on my server trying it and wasting my visitant.

Edit: And if nothing else thorny that proves.... the atma is correct?

Are the exact pop conditions for Iratham known yet? Death spot just appeared on Phoenix tonight so I guess it recently depopped.

Are the exact pop conditions for Iratham known yet? Death spot just appeared on Phoenix tonight so I guess it recently depopped.

I followed it for a few days, and its pop timers are completely utterly random as far as I've seen. Watched JPs killing every Bhumi in zone and have it not pop for over 8 hours, then have it be killed and pop one hour later. I've seen it pop at 20:00 and depop at exactly 4:00, then pop a day or two later during the day and depop at 20:00. I've even tested it against Myrmeceleon being killed, dead, or up. You really could trio this with a DD, RDM/DRK and WHM, duo would be a stretch, but trio is not a problem if people are paying attention. It casts lolcomet too.

I thought that iratham could only pop at night and automatically despawns at 4:00. You have a confirmed pop during the day? It's safe to assume it has nothing to do with bhumi since we probably would of seen it much earlier. It could just be a random lottery pop that unlocks after myrma appearing on a server and nothing more than that (and at this point that's what I beleive).

I'm sure he'll get over the disappointment, especially since he was simply reporting a pop on Lakshmi and posting a SS of the Atma/drops. If you are going to ascribe silly one-upsmanship motivations to people posting here, at least be more accurate.

This one was up around 0:00-1:00. I had started searching for it around 23:00 as I had read reports of it only being up at night, and ArwynofOdin stumbled on it before I did.

Once we saw that it had popped on phoenix, I camped the deathspot for 5 hours, and it didn't pop ;/ Doesnt seem like its a simply time/nighttime spawn.

I'll camp it some more this weekend, hopefully the zone will have more activity/NMs being killed since its the weekend and we can try to narrow the pop conditions. Things I have personally tried and dont see to trigger it: Killed Bhumis, killed ephemerals, killed Quetsalli. We DID kill mananaggal that run, as well as Myrmecleon, and I think that's when someone noticed the deathspot. Don't know if that trigered anything, but Myrmecleon was NOT up on the server (since the update) until Tuesday, and we have killed it 3-4 times recently.
If there is a trigger NM that has to die in order for Iratham to have a possibility to pop, that may be more realistic.

Also, I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but with ASE on, Iratham's name is Green, like an npc... Does that mean it deppoped, or hasnt popped, idk...

That was my theory for awhile, but it got destroyed when another linkshell found it up during the day and killed it (went to tahrongi and witnessed this myself). I really haven't noticed a pattern, my best luck was randomly checking the zone at night and having it up, it never popped for me when I tried camping it. As far as time interval in between, I haven't noticed a pattern yet, but I'll stick to my only popping at night theory.


And for Quetztalli, I think its a random pop timer associated with the Bhumi that roams around near conflux 1. I haven't verified 100% with the Bhumi but I kill it anyways and it pops for me. Ziel charm drop rate is looowwwww

not sure if it matters but I had been turning in the key item for Tangling with tongue twisters (3-4 during the course of the night) My group also downed antlion.

None of the rangers mentioned it during their periodic scans. my run was approx 7-10:30ish pm eastern (Oct 28, 2010)

Regretting that i did not do a lap to see if it was up before or after our run. But i did see the spot in the kitty section near #7 this morning.

I haven't heard of anything official outside of it being related to Bhumi being killed.(Likely the southern most spawn) Due to Bhumi's relatively short respawn time, seems like its most likely either lotto related or simply has a cool-down timer of an hour or two.

He despawns so quickly its hard to nail it down I think.

Saw it pop right on our face during firesday around 2:00-4:00 game time on the Lamenter's camp, was spaming Lachrymater in a trio when it poped, didn't seem to aggro until we pulled it (we had to clear 3 slept mobs before pulling) or has short aggro range. We tried to pull it away from Lamenter's aggro, and it kinda teleported on top of us which means I lagged and runs at flee speed? lol.

Recently built a Glavoid pop, but a bit hesitant to pop it. How hard is it nowadays at 85? It's TP moves look rather annoying, I got about 6 people available to go out after him
