I don't get what the problem is, I've had multiple horns in every single WoE chamber 2 loot pool I've ever seen (which is a lot of horns).

Gems for the new rings are several times more rare and they're like 500k average across all servers.

Sorry if posted before but as far as I read it's been under impression that when you go to a XP alliance in abyssea you don't kill the NM of your group or other mobs.

Thing is though that we had a semi xp/nm farm run the other in la theine, we killed pixies and popped Baba Yaga's pretty much non stop w/o our xp/cruor reset. We even killed some ephemeral limules, and we fished for crabs at same time. We killled the crab NM and it reset the crabs xp, but we ended up popping 18 pixie NMs and still our xp kept going up on the normal pixies.

edit: we got increased xp from the NM too, started at around 900 and ended at getting 1500~ per NM

Out of curiosity could anyone post a pic of the serpent sabots. Doesn't matter if it's a drop pic or a pic of them equipped on someone... just want some visual confirmation since there seems to be little to no proof at all as to their existence so far.

Anyone have solid strats for Carabosse and Behemoth?

We fought Carabosse pretty much the same way as we did Briareus. Stuns were focused on Aeroga III when in BLM mode. I believe that's triggered by Winter Breeze? Something that's worth noting is that she is extremely easy when you first fight her, until she uses benediction. After benediction is when the real fight starts. Her DEF goes through the roof and it seems like her attacks become way more potent.

No idea on Hadhayosh quite yet, not fighting that one until Monday.

An LS mate of mine just traded the 2 lambent scales to Halver to complete the Lost Memories quest, and received an augmented coeurl mantle and 480 cruor instead of the lambent potion key item needed to flag An Eye for Revenge. Anyone else experience this? I'm thinking it's some kind of glitch, as he said he flagged the quest before trading the scales in. This was his first time doing Lost Memories; Curilla will not give him the final quest. The fame NPC is giving him the message for max fame as well.

Anyone have a strat with Lugarhoo? (sp). Is he easy with a pickup group of 18 lvl 80 players or can he get a lucky wipe in? Most abyssea mobs I fought so far like bakka and the T1 malboro, piasa, etc were overkilled by 18 players.
But then other mobs like Marvin and the tier 1 bomblet mandy put up a good fight with 18 players killing some of the players.

Where would you catagorize the Gnole NM in difficulty and anyone have a strat?
Also the Boss giga. Can he be chainspell stunned and is he on par with the Dynamis Qufim giga zone boss? or is he much easier then him?

What? I've never fought Lugarhoo, but I'm quite confused by you thinking some of these NMs put up a good fight. Ya the rabbit kills DD that don't have shadows up...not really surprising, I've seen rabbits in Dyna-Bubu do the same thing. The bomblet mandy is a total joke with 4 people, I have no earthly idea how you think it's remotely hard.

As for the gigas, no idea if he can be CSSed, we had 12-18 people on our various kills, only the first one when we weren't sure what to expect posed anything close to problematic, so I'd say he's easier than the Qufim guy...also, you can bring in a group that is good to straight fight him, not be stuck with a group that is meant for Dyna farming, so I'm sure that adds something. He can be stunned, however.

Lugaroo is a joke. Have DDs fighting in the back, tanks in teh front. Try not to pull hate too much as he can do some decent dmg with his tp moves and it's over. 2/3 on Poise Shoes in under 20 mins.

What makes you think it is a timed spawn? Did you happen to get a group in there and kill all the opos with no luck of it popping?

Don't have time atm to post strat but I soloed Chasmic Hornet. I'll post the strat a little later when I have time to type it all out.

That's strange. I was going to do this quest today but now I think I might wait on it lol. It also seems the quest is repeatable.. what happens if you trade in 2 more?
