About the cor dmg I was the cor and mainly came to buff blms and buff etc. My cor is very gimp in terms of gear for the shots (I honestly don't care about it other than buffing jobs and being support) but nevertheless like I said it could be something coincidental. But I noticed nukes back to original dmg nonetheless. It's only one sample size/test anyways so if more ppl test stuff then reject It or w/e. Also a clue word right at the beginning of my previous post. "May"

some servers atm got "leftover" ovni that are capped at -dt. What is "leftover"? it is simply an ovni that some fail group/alliance left behind because they couldnt bring it down due to letting ovni grow too much -dt, and hence fuck the next group that attempts

some people here posted how crazy ovni is, in terms of -dt, and do lesser damage just because of this im sure.....

i killed 3 ovni today, all 3 rdm/nin, and my first ovni is a "leftover" which i only does 2xx damage water IVs with abyssea MAB medicine...took me 1 hour and it raged. so we did 1 reset(with bio on so it dont regen) to make it unrage for our DOTs to get in.

our 2nd and 3rd ovni after this "leftover" was mad easy. our water IV did 850+ damage and it took us only 30 mins to kill

if your unlucky, your ovni will be filled with max -dt and no matter how good you are, you gotta have a hard time to kill it simply because only DOT works...at this point, you can only pray for a really persistent group to bring it down using only DOTs so the next group can have a fairly easy ovni

being said, this could be a glitch and i hope this maint will ninja fix it cos im sure no one wants to deal with a "leftover" ovni even tho its unclaimed ._.

The problem is ppl cant wrap there brains around the fact that the damage it takes(-dt) etc etc is random. As i said earlier i have pretty much the best rdm nuking gear possible aside from trial of magian staffs and i was only doing 350-400 at max the first fight then was hitting highs of 550(this was all at 100%-90% before an invincible went off. Although like i said the first one could have been already faught and ended up being a fail dunno?. But all these people stating things like they are facts is kinda dumb. The fact that these mobs ovni turul etc etc dont even become claimable at the same time on all server should ring a bell saying their actions/patterns are somewhat random. like darth said when we faught it the greenish !! reset the -dt. nobody said it was 100% and niether is the claims that getting a certain color !! makes it drop full drops. I dont have SS as i dont really take SS like that but on my rdm i hit a high of 550 water IV at 98% as it did more invincibles damage our course went down, when we got the greenish !! it went right back up to 500ish. And as far as cor shots not going down thats also not a fact, out of the 3 times i faught it one time the cor shots were not resisted at all and the other 2 as the nukes damage went down so did the cor shots, same buffs, same meds, same gear. Whereas im not saying anybody wrong and im in no way saying i am right but the best thing i can say is "Women lie,Men lie, Numbers don't. Its random >.>


~my only personal theory is that the dt- it starts off as is random at pop. could be wrong could be right, dunno yet.
- and before someone says the obvios "you coulda got it after someone else claimed it" 2 times i faught it; it just popped with my group being the first to touch it from pop.

We killed a fully -PDT/MDT leftover Ovni with 2 COR's, 1 RDM and 1 BLM. It was really easy and it took less than 60 minutes. Full DoT's from RDM and BLM and COR's just Quick Draw it to death. We took it to the small lake where the Pixie's are. Not much else to say, thing got stomped.

Afterward, we killed it again about an hour and a half later. Died in 15 minutes with 4 RDM's.

Point of the post is people shouldn't be complaining about "left over" Ovni's because you can easily kill it if you have 2-3 COR friends.

Yeah we killed a fully DT Ovni yesterday w/ me dual boxing RDM and COR, and a BLM. Took a lot longer than 60min for us though because I had to actually bring the COR mule and it isn't the best geared .

~but on the serious note, why would it be no do u have concrete proof that its false or is it because it random cant be put in some mathmatical equation you disagreee? ( i could really care less if im right by the way if yoru right im happy with it, my only thing is i want to find a way to solo this myself and sell the belts to the ppl who cant kill it, by solo i mean dual box as im not seeing a rdm or any other job solo it unless u exp get 500+ mins and sit there all fucking day like a genbu kill lol.

I think 7 times of the same fight is enough to understand that it's not going to change. I also think that it is stupid to say that a green !! will reset its damage reduction when I know for a fact that it hasn't.

Not to mention that from an outsider's perspective, I am loads more believable than you are.
