Eh...We really didn't think of that, but if i read correctly its not 100% PDT. We're gonna try RNG + COR next to speed it up and then change to COR COR once RNG dmg is trashed...Might also bring a BLM to add little more dmg

If its at the point were it no longer uses invincible at all (capped DT) then the quickest means of killing it is a blm for poison/bio/ele dot and as many cor as you can get. Rng on its own won't do anything worthwhile.

Maybe the wrong place to bring this up but since it's on topic ... I haven't leveled COR40 yet and haven't done the trials for Annihilator 80 yet (waiting to see what update does to trials) so I'm not certain about this.

Assuming all gear is easily obtainable (poor assumption):

RNG best QD Set: Annihilator(80) + Dweomer Bullet => 59 + 90 DMG = 149 DMG
COR best QD Set: Armageddon + Oberon's Bullet + Corsair's Tricorne => 58 + 77 + 5 DMG = 140 DMG

If RNG can wear all the same MAB/AGI/whatever gear as COR wouldn't RNG/COR be better QD damage?

Edit: Also QD + BLM is win because of QD augments enfeebles (increased Bio and Poison damage)

Wow - certainly right about that .. I forget about Mythic 20% QD dmg.

Not to mention that COR can sub RDM and get MAB II trait, thus giving it a large lead even on Anni RNGs.

Finally got to play with the UFO. When we first got there it was in "Fuck you I ain't takin any damage bitch" mode. QD's were doin less then 50 per.

Exited, waited a few for reset (and day change cuz it was darksday), went back in with me, 3 cors, smn, blm in pty, with 2nd pty having 2 plds, rdm, whm (was invited to help kill). With wizards/warlocks rolls, and shiva's favor, I was doing nearly 400 fire shots. Needless to say I was kiting it alot.

No bullwhip, 1/1 abyssite. Fun fight though.

I haven't fought it yet so correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought from everything I've read here that QD is not affected by it's -DT, and there's no "reset" since it's not technically raged.

Sorry I didn't mention in previous post that it was in said mode because a group had been previously fighting it before us and failed.

I can only assume that between the gradual -pdt combined with the possibility that they may have triggered too many "!!" to cause it to resist even more. I've seen it happen on Chukwa where i was doing 450+ ice shots, blm did bliz IV to trigger a "!!", and for some reason continued to bliz IV it, triggering more "!!" that near the end of the fight i was doing less then 100 dmg ice shots.

u just straight tank and bounce hate

only time u have to move is when it uses boost while all ur rdm busy casting spells and cannot dispel in time so that u dont get 1 shotted
