Any strategies for low-man Toppling Tuber? Preferably with 2-3 people. Lots of jobs available, so pretty much any combo should be doable.

For Toppling Tuber:
It is soloable by RDM/NIN, but the main problem is the pull itself.
This NM runs at "almost" flee speed, meaning u can gain distance with flee on, but only 20-25 yalms out of a 30 seconds flee.
It links with nearby funguars also, but here's how I did it:
Hermes Quencher, powder bootsx3. Pop the NM and start running to the Brooder / Piasa / Rabbit pinning wall, just east of Conflux 2. use Boots at first, then hermes and during hermes switch to other boots, in theory U should be able to pull the NM over the ramp with 1:30 sec of flee, and deaggro all the links.
On my 2nd try (since the first I didn't get any drop), I had a friend THF doing the pull, and he barely managed to get to the ramp and die, and I pulled the NM from there, since he got hit while using 2nd pair of boots.
NOTE: it loses aggro easily, so as soon as it spawns use poison, then start running.
Anyway once u get to the wall the fight itself is a cake, PIN like you normally would and keep DoTs on. Nukes do really good damage and with ascetics + ethers/elixirs goes down in less then 20 min.
Things you need to worry about: It either uses Frog Kick, which can deal high damage, so keep ur Stoneskin Up and eat HP+ food,
otherwise it will use 3 TP moves in a row, always: Numbshroom Quaeshroom (sp?) Agaricus.
The first 2 are paralyze and poison iirc, Agaricus is a fucking strong plague that drains 25MP+ per tic (not sure about exact amount because I had refresh gears on and swapping equip and didn't feel like doing the math) but yeah, really strong. Those 3 TP moves have extremely long range, so it might be tricky to outrun them even if you're pinning. Bring some Tincture for plague and a stack of remedies for poison/paralyze to be safe.
1/2 on belt, 2nd kill was with TH4^^
Happy hunting!
Any news on if the update fixed Ovni/Ruminator's lack of losing their DT-% when going passive?
Unless a new baseline of DT was added to ovni I can confirm that DT still does not reset; WaterIV with ascetics is normally high 400s-low500s for me when it's fresh, after pulling it today from the sky WaterIV only hit for 400-417.
could someone if possible post a picture of the wall where you pin bee/bunny/bird? ty in advance
is that near the plateau bunnies and the pincer looking guys?
Are there multiple brooders are is there only 1? I assume 1 hour repop?
1 brooder in zone, repop is 60-80ish minutes from what I've seen.
Is there a general trend on where he pops? Remembered reading about it, but new forum search is kinda weird, and I can't seem to pinpoint the post anymore.
Lowman strats for Ruminator? lol, damn brooder won't put out and I get stuck with an upgrade. I think my set is very flexible when it comes to jobs, so any advice is cool:
Spharai MNK, PLD
WHM RDM BRD BLM
WHM RDM BLM
SAM BLM RDM BRD
SAM BLM THF
WAR BLM PLD
for the 6 that are in set.
In order:
MNK/NIN
RDM/NIN
WHM/NIN
BRD/NIN
THF/NIN
WAR/NIN
Melees spank and tank, mages + THF keep distance. Everyone subs NIN because after Mighty Strikes, Ruminator picks a seemingly random target and harrasses them for at least 15-20 seconds, maybe the full duration of Mighty Strikes, and Stoneskin/Blink won't help much to defend you. Dispel frequently, use dummy buffs if you're so inclined. My friends and I usually use two SAM/NIN tanks, so MNK/NIN should fare fine but WAR/NIN might be in trouble if his Haste/Marches are down for a bit.
Edit: pretty much beaten to it lol
Droprate on hochomasamune/heafoc mitts? Have a feeling they may be terrible, but just wanna confirmation.
We're 0/4 Heafoc, 1/4 Hocho. :/
Well that sucks, was hoping it's something to tide me over until I can work on trials.
Anyone have any information on a decent setup for carabosse now that we are 85?
