Can't figure out how to attach pics to these >< but while in la thiene today there was a single black sheep mixed in among the the white sheep in the white sheep area. Rest of my party had timed out and i had 10ish mins to explore a little, so i didn't try to fight it. May just be some random thing, but might be something to look out for.

For some reason I remember seeing that somewhere before on these boards. However, it isn't reflected on the current NM maps that people have made. It did check as a NM right?

The name is Black Merino, and they are normal mobs, didn't check Impossible to gauge, there's always 2 of them in the group of Irate Sheeps, but wide scan shows a few of the Black Merino not to far apart.

There are lots of Black Merino in the valley north of the rams, but yeah, there's a couple Black Merino's just chillin' with the Irate Sheep.

By "reset an ability timer" do you mean an unused JA had its recast set to maximum or a JA on cooldown had its recast set to 0?

It's already been said before that it has a chance to reset your JAs to 0 timer. Not like the ACP aoe.

Sorry if I said it a bit unclear, but yes will set the timer to 0 so you can 2hr multiple times etc.

just killed the hornet and it dropped lancers torque along with 2 stingers also the puller got a exp abyessite

Has Lancer's Torque's effect already been established? I haven't seen anyone talking about it....

Does it affect Healing Breath's potency or trigger %?

Well just finished a 3 stone exp/crour run, no stone chests but we did get a number of T5 and T4 exp/crour chests, ended up walking away with about 9K crour or so.

However at the very end with about 2 mins left or so, we grabbed an epheremeal cliniod and killed it.

Instead of the usual 150ish exp and 90ish crour, we get 242 exp and 575 crour, dramatically more than usual.

Seems to me that when you rack up an exp combo off of a family then kill a mob from a different family, despite the chain getting reset you do get a dramatic bonus to that first mobs crour/exp

anyone that's fought megamouth mikey can give me a rough estimate on it's hp? wondering if i could WS-rape it sam/war with seigan up before it kills me.

Fought it the other day with SMN SMN RDM BLM BLM BLM, took us 10ish minutes to get him down, no trouble at all from him sides one mage eating stone V before getting out of range. Blood pacts from garuda were doing around 700-800 range, and im not sure of the BLMs damage output on it. In other words, i think it would kill you before you got close solo xD

can solo it on rng, but seigan/third eye will do nothing because of full force blow ignoring shadows/third eye. and it likes to cast stonega3 alot also.

positive about third eye? i read about shadows but i hadn't heard FFB goes through third eye.

Not 100%, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption just because Dozing Dorian's sheep charge went through both IIRC, but it might work on mikey.

well....unfortunately you're right.

1150 FFB through third eye, to 993 stonega 3. managed to pull off a 59dmg rana > 502 gekko for 65dmg darkness sc. got him to a whopping 98%.

fuck this game.

edit: 7 damage melee swing between all that, someone might want to update the wiki he not only has mega magic immunity (supposedly) but physical reduction.

You must have gotten a raged mikey or something, my melee hits on sam/nin were doing 80-110 and gekkos were doing 550(no overwhelm)-1k. He was definitely getting owned by melee.

Can anyone post more info on Carabosse? Has anyone managed to kill it with less than 10 people? Would be nice if its possible cause these gems are going to suck!

Also how do people usually handle Grandgosier? As far as I could see his TP cycle was spammed and hit through shadows, and i don't think he can be stunned as I believe he's lightning based~

This ^ because people reported the mandy NM being hard as hell with 18 ppl while others have reported the mob being a joke with 6 ppl.
I also noticed piasa becoming much harder everytime he repopped when we tried him on other days. The worse of them all is when I said that the melvin rabbit was hard as hell and people laughed at me cause they said its easy. Easy my ass, he was hitting my 400+ defense level 80 MNK for 500-800 dmg and seems to double attack or attack fast.

I say the NMs levels range from about 1-7 levels apart. For example level 78-85. Sometimes it can be level 78 sometimes level 85 kinda like how the sky gods are 2 levels apart 88-90?

I got hit my megamaw mikeys forceful blow 3x and they did 800 dmg each time with no buffs on and no -def buffs on. (no counterstance, no berserk on). But he can't hurt garuda worth a shit and ended up getting mauled by the garudas around him while we stored TP on little worms then ran in and WS him.

Blizzard3 was doing roughly 334 damage a pop for 1-2% of its HP, which puts its HP at a maximum of 33,400 and a minimum of 16,700. Bio3 + Poison2 would take awhile to remove 1% so I'm guessing it's around the 30k mark.

My crew got Mantle, 2 stingers and the puller,me, got the EXP abyssite.

Any1 gotten the exp Abyssite from something other than NM hornet?

puller got the exp abyssite from rabbit NM as well

30+ minute fight with Marvin last night. Dropped meat and two of his skins or whatever. Puller got the EXP abyssite.
