Full force blow is a melee range attack on normal worms, I would assume it's the same for this NM.
FFB is definitely still melee range.
EDIT: The NM itself isn't the problem. It gathers lots of adds around it and they are the ones who do most of the damaging spells. For some reason the NM is relatively passive, only casting occasionally (though he HURTS when he does, with a high degree of Fast Cast too) - for this reason a rdm/drk won't be that useful because you'll have literally 7-8 worms around him eventually, all casting. Minor worm Stonegas don't hurt much though (barely broke Stoneskin on RDM, wasn't wearing MDB gear at the time).
I dunno if theres a glitch or if its the hate system in Abyssea..
i once ran past the worms and they were in 'battle mode' (facing 1 direction) but there was nobody nearby... and they were also partially damaged...
and i waited around to see if there was anyone but there was none..
if they don't follow normal rules of deaggroing then I suppose someone musta ga-ed them and then moved off somewhere...
kinda funny tho.. too bad exp rate would probably suck to solo the whole lot of them by -ga spell.
so its almost confirmed that puller(for pre-spawn NMs) get the key item abyssite and/or key item for next tier NMs?
damnit let the provoke claim button spamming begin
Are you guys who are all reporting abyssites knowign whether you triggered the !!! and mayhaps what caused it?
seems that way but it doesnt matter in La Theine because none of the free-spawning NMs drop key-item triggers here.
Moreso for Konschtat (gangly gean, raskovnik, fistule & prolly guimauve along with it). Not so sure about Tahrongi yet
edit: anyway.. I just added a flow diagram to my La Theine chart... should help to make it clearer since i realized no pop structure was evident in the map unless u already knew beforehand. still WIP, but better than nothing
I got an abyssite from NM in Tahrongi, and 99% sure we did not get the !! at all.Are you guys who are all reporting abyssites knowign whether you triggered the !!! and mayhaps what caused it?

Thought i'd post this unconfirmed:
Name Keesha Poppo
Race [opoopo] family
Appearance place
Appearance condition
Trophy [pamama] of key plain gauze
Feature
Unconfirmed report: When the [jiyaguna] nearby wood you cut down, pop it did. ([ne] actual [abiseasure])
Meaning when you cut down logging point the NM poped![]()
Really rather simple solo on SCH. From what I could tell, the NM won't cast if you're > 20' away, and the links are just there to help you kill faster (Aspir-ga). Even if he does get a spell off, it shouldn't be enough to kill you if you keep SS up. Still, it took a while (20 min). Probably be faster now that I'm 80(Was 77 or so at the time).
One thing to watch out for, he sometimes likes to lose hate, and take off underground which is a bit of a pain in the ass.
Spoiler: show
Sounds plausible. Like the Corse mobs in Tahrongi, it could be the Brae Opo-Opo mobs here also only spawn under special conditions. They appear in the mob list between the Puks and the Hammering Rams in case it helps. There are significant empty spaces around the Martello #8, Martello #6, and around L-7 so maybe they could appear there.
Think a RNG would have any chance of soloing Megamaw Mikey? Could sub WHM for Stoneskin or NIN to blink spells....
The sheep clump together into 3 clumps. They're all white.
There's one black sheep in with the crowd of whites. Looks like some SE humor to me.
If there is some kind of connection between the sheep and being black/white it might spawn the Behemoth, though Im leaning towards him being the "final" boss.
Skimmed over thread and didn't see any mention; any word on the repop of Chasmic Hornet?
"Bob was always the black sheep of the family"
lol...
as for the Opo's.. i think people should just start logging for starters. perhaps if enough people log, Opos will naturally start popping?
