Could be backordered like someone else said, and might not be fulfilled since we don't know if there will be a "second shipment". I ordered right when it went up on amazon and received no such message.

Keep in mind the 22/30'th is the tentative release date. Take everything w/ a grain of salt until the game goes "gold." I'm hoping it stays at those dates, but a small pushback would not surprise me in the least

Why don't you try GAME or Gamestation instead. £39.99 for CE and faster delivery.

I preordered mine, but I realized that I didn't put any thing in the promotion code. Didn't think the code I got with FFXIII was supposed to go there but now I've seen people talking about it. Should I cancel my order and put that code in?

My local Gamestation isnt taking orders yet.
My friend works there and he will let me know. He will also get me 25% off the CE too.
I only pre-ordered from Play.com to secure one.

What? Who is talking about it? The FF13 promotional code is registered through SE's Member site and then spits out a FF14 promotional code that is used during registration for FF14. Has nothing to do with preordering it afaik.

Twas what I thought. People in one of the other hundred topics here were talking about buying the disk and ways to get the code so they could input it. Kinda through me off because I didn't think it was for this.

Ya, there's no mention of using the code during your preorder on SE's site after you register your FF13 code so I'm 99.9% sure we're safe here.

I ordered mine in store at Gamestop. He said that this is an official date that it is very unlikely to be pushed back. What happened to your order is that it probably ran out like what happened to the iPhones...

The FF13 code has nothing to do with preordering the game. Anyone who told you otherwise is a moron.

Amazon had the first page up from any uk etailer so I instabought, I seriously doubt they sold their allocation completely.

Cancelled my amazon order and changed to game - I usually order there.
Also I'm pretty sure amazon don't change the price on a pre-order anyway.
I know 100% that game fix prices though - I got my starcraft 2 copies for £26 before the price went up to £35 - got an email informing me the lower price would stand.

Seriously though theres like a 0% chance amazon have sold out, I don't get why people are blindly ZOMG UNTIL SE ANNOUNCE IT MY DREAM IS STILL ALIVE type crap.

I'd start hurling stereotypical insults around but what's the point, keep stroking the hello kitty plushy and telling yourself everything will be ok and the bad man on the internets won't hurt you.

Didn't get any email from game.co.uk, still says 22nd on the website.

Probably amazon just being idiots.
