i liked it. I watched it at work in broad daylight still had me spooked at times. But im an easy critic. I try to give everything a chance before i just completely hate it. Till this day i think the Remake of Texas chainsaw massacre. And Blair witch project. Are the only 2 movies iv ever lost sleep over.

Cloverfield is awesome, Paranormal Activity suffered the same problem that Quarantine did which is the god damn ending of the movie was in the fucking trailer. Totally takes away from when you know said moment is coming and time is ticking down until the ending and then you realize herpderp it is the end.

First was fucking terrible. Not scary unless you're a 10 year old girl, and the main characters were completely unlikeable. I was happy when they died but pissed that it took so long. Marble Hornets is "scarier" and that's made by like 3 dudes with a walmart digicam.

edit: how many people who thought it was scary live in a house? I've been noticing that all the people I know who weren't scared live in apartments/ghetto lol

This pissed me off a lot about Quarantine, hated the movie because of it.

I did enjoy Cloverfield, but it advertised itself WAY to much as a monster movie and did not deliver in that department.

And am I the only one that thought paranormal activity was shot at the porno-level-filming quality. I swore a sex scene was gonna break out at any point during the film.

Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I can see how the boyfriend can get annoying but to label him in a group of people that he isn't even is just ignorant.

I liked the movie because to be honest, it instills helplessness in you, and it tries to get into your head to scare you with the stupid "group splits up BOOM CRASH BAM someone is dead." I wasn't scared by it personally because imo, i'm a very rational person but if you put it on the scale of other horror movies, which is really scarier? This or the other retarded shit that comes out. At least this is unique.
