Today I was killing worm placeholders in the Maze of Shakhrami on RNG for my magian bow trial, and noticed that when I shot from the sweet spot, the damage was slightly different than it had been outside the sweet spot. The whole time I was there I was doing 357 damage per ranged attack (capped PDIF, clearly), but in the sweet spot I was doing 367:

I tried on some Stink Bats and found the same results for all the ones I shot:

All the numbers above were with a Kestrel and Demon Arrows. Then I decided to try Vbow. The first two critical hits in the log were performed out of the sweet spot. The last one is in the sweet spot:

A lot of extra testing was done with various weapons and my conclusion was pretty much a 3% increase in damage for both ranged attack and weapon skills. I toyed around with the idea with a flat DMG: increase, but this didn't work out for lower damage weapons. It's interesting to know that it's not a mod of PDIF but of overall damage though.
The only thing that throws a wrench into the equation is on the bats, it's not perfectly 3%. Maybe there's some order of calculations which comes up with the real result, but the 25% increase seems to fool with it somehow.
Feel free to discuss, or share your findings if you've also done some testing.
