    just read the entirety of the comic book series over the weekend, and being one of those people who watched the TV series and then read the comic, not disappointed in the route the TV series has taken at all. Looking forward to following both storylines!

    He might have been bit, but he's not dead yet. I could see him doing some suicide mission to draw the zombies away from the fence/the people outside in the next few issues. Kind of give him a reason for living, even if it's his last act.

    What I don't get is how Andrea was able to get to that rooftop when, presumably, her sniper tower should have been swarmed as well since she fired the 'warning shot'. Shouldn't the building that they roped to have been swarmed as well just from the sheer numbers that are outside the fence?

    I also like how Rick told the telephone to fuck off. Seems to me like he is either 'getting over it' as Mich put it (Lori's death) or that he feels some guilt sleeping with another woman (whose husband he killed).

    I don't quite get why they've got Carl, alone, watching over Morgan. I get that it allows for some private dialog between the two, but if he starts turning Carl's only recourse is to fire his gun which well set all of the zombies onto the house. Yea, he could run out of the room and get help, but he's already reached for his gun at least twice so it doesn't look like he'll be doing that. Doesn't seem like the wisest decision.

    I think Carl being there was just so there could be that conversation they had. Also, I think Sophie is basically considered Glenn and Maggie's child anymore, and would be considered one of their children. When Rick said that, I took it to mean his group's children.

    I can't wait for next month, I want to see how they get out and if they can get Glenn and the rest off that roof.

    I agree that the point was the conversation. I feel that Carl was becoming a little monster in most people's eyes and I feel like maybe that wasn't necessarily the way that Kirkman wants it to go? I see that conversation as being a way that he has sort of put some humanity back into him, or at least allowed for that to become the case soon enough. With Kirkman though, you NEVER know what the man is thinking of doing next so i could be insanely off base.

    What stands out most is that Darabont didn't fire the writing staff as was speculated late last year.

    I don't want them to make it to the prison this season, that needs a whole season to flesh out and there's still a grip of character development and the new additions. The perfect ending to season 2 would be them seeing the prison from the top of the hill after the long journey from the farm. I wouldn't however comma mind a bit of backstory on Michonne in season 2 before her grand badass entry at the prison.


    Also, issues 81+82 rocked. Stoked to see what happens next.
