I'm thinking this is going to be something different than a storyline from the comics. Mostly because it seems too soon to jump into the Big Bad that everyone is thinking. Have at least a season before they should get to that. However, the storylines in between are a little weak, so these mutilated walkers might be a beefed up minor storyline.

Not Enid but there is currently a girl Carl was with. Enid could also be taking the place of Carol's daughter Sophia now as she is still alive in the comics.

Well, Sophia is still alive at this point in the comics...but he doesn't get any female action until the very recent comics, really.

I posted this earlier in the thread but it merits reposting here.

On the Walking Dead episode of @Midnight (Kirkman, Lauren Cohan, and Josh McDermitt), they had a segment called "Walking Dead Spoilers". 60 seconds, buzz in with as many fake spoilers about the show as you can think of.

One of the answers Kirkman buzzed in with was the actual spoiler for Lucille - "Eventually, a character named Negan is introduced, he's going to bash in Glenn's brains with a baseball bat called Lucille."

I don't think Lauren caught it, she just pauses and then mouths "OMG". Josh just stood there for a moment and then burst into laughter.

So, I know Kirkman gives no fucks but this makes me think it's not going to go down the way it did in the comics (namely the victim).

I can see them using someone else from Alexandria. If they do end up using this scene as a mid-season finale like a lot of us here think it will be used as, then I could see them using the guy who now hunts for new people with Daryl as that role. I feel like he's going to get a lot of screen time as he will be with Daryl a lot and you kind of already have a small relationship with him building. I remember him from the comics, kind of, but I also remember there being something about a pet tiger? Idk, this may be after the whole Alexandria town arc it's been a while for me.
