I get that they have to do black and white to easily distinguish the flashbacks, but shit got old real fast when 80% of the episode was flashback.

Which they could've avoided by having it play out in chronological order, because the "flashbacks" were all things that hadn't actually happened yet.

I mean the order they did play it in did up the drama factor of a couple of the minor things going on between the characters. But it wasn't worth it to me.

All it really did for me was create a sense of not fully knowing what was going on during "current" time shenanigans; a bunch of actions which would've been mundane and boring if you weren't spending time trying to figure out what the plan was.

when you see the girl crying, she's in a truck. So chances are she died in there, fell on the horn. And those foghorns are loud enough to be heard that far back like that. The fact that there's panic inside Alexandria and the girl got wounded means its probably the Wolves attacking the neighborhood while Rick and gang are out.

What the hell is it with surprise bites in this show? I can understand that Carter was overzealous and not trained so he was bitten, but how the hell does he not see a zombie in an open forest when he is looking straight ahead?

the walker was tree colored, and so thin he blended in like a ninja. I mean, even YOU didn't see the zombie till it reached out and grabbed him.

I don't think there are really that many stupid deaths in the show? Tyrese stands out as being particularly bad, but nothing else is really coming to mind. There's some more subjective "I think the character probably would've survived this situation" deaths, but the nature of zombies is that one tiny mistake or missed detail is death; things like that don't really bother me.

Ehh, that's one I can see both points on. It was a stupid fucking idea, but it was more to prove a point about how little control lady-cop actually had. I don't think Beth expected to get her brains blown out for it, it was more a shock reaction from whatever-her-name-was. And if Beth did expect to die, then yes, it was horribly contrived and/or amazingly poorly thought out (this is true either way) and incredibly selfish on her part.

plus carter was no zombie fighting veteran, I bet if you ran out into the forest ur first time like that the walker would have grabbed you too.
