News is a couple days old, but it doesn't seem to have been discussed. Sonequa Martin-Green(Sasha) has been cast as the lead in the new Star Trek. Probably going to lose her after the mid-season premiere.
Yes?
Oh. I forgot about Wolves. This show is becoming less and less memorable.
That's because Kirkman is becoming more involved with the story. Derrr. Their original stuff is way better than the constantly follow the comic crap, filler excluded.
The best worst series on TV is back on tonight, I am expecting nothing g less than epic derp.
...still watching though, so I guess it's doing it right?
that is some serious deus ex machina at work with Rick finding a random group out of nowhere
They are not random. They are the women of Island of Lesbos.
This episode was great for one liners
"Talk to him. Or stare him into submission."
"Now Skinny Joey is just Joey. What a goddamn tragedy."
Was a pretty good start to second half of the season. Now they're gonna go back to slow ass episodes.
I thought they were all women, too, but after seeing the sneak peek in Tyrath's post there were obviously men. I think they actually cut to Tara to show that there was no recognition on her part, specifically to tell us these *weren't* the women of Oceanside, because that was my initial assumption as well.
Don't think Rick knows somebody in that group, which is why he was smiling?
I haven't kept up with the comics in years to keep the show spoiler free. Is this something different than what happened in the comics? I remember a season or two ago they said they were going to get back on track with the comics, but considering no one has name dropped this group yet, it seems original.
Rick was definitely smiling because he found an army. From the first confrontation and the sneak peek though, something seems off with everyone having no expression or personality and being totally silent.
