The bar scene, when the two guys arrived, was definitely my favorite scene in the episode and probably all season. Not being familiar with the source material (yeah, I know) I was worried Hershel was going to die before Rick was able to kill 'em both making their return to the farm nothing more than "yeah so... he's dead, bye!"

My question about Lori is why the fuck did she need to look at a map while driving? She was on a straight fucking road, pay attention woman! Hit a walker, freak the fuck out and flip your car, good job. Something I was very happy about in the episode was the fact they found Herschel asap, was worried there for a second the next half of the season was going to be The Search for Sophia v.2.

bar scene was awesome once outsiders showed up, emo Herschel and Lori women-driving was shit, everything else was aight nothing doing either way. Dale continuing to be psychic for the narrative's sake is kind of annoying "maybe he shot Otis ! maybe they were pinned down ! maybe he used it as a distraction after hurting his ankle jumping from a school window then had to shave his head because Otis took a clump of his hair! I'M JUST GUESSING HERE"

obviously Dale is God. God created the zombie plague because the world was all stupid and shit. he killed off most everyone and wanted to see if humanity could pull through and be worthy of his love once again. He pegged Rick as humanities best hope so he disguised himself in plain sight to get a better view. Lori's baby is not Rick's or Shane's but it is God's. and Shane is actually an incarnation of Lucifer. If Shane wins the group over then the baby will become the Antichrist and death and destruction will consume everything. however if it is Rick that wins over the group, the baby will be born as Jesus. The second coming of Jesus. and he will be the cure to zombies and peace, love and harmony shall once again be over the earth.

i don't think the show creators can differentiate between what makes their show good and what makes it a contrived pile of shit

My beef was she swerved like...3 full seconds after the zombie hit the ground and she was perfectly in the clear. Maggie is the only non-garbage female character in the show.

Also when the hell is T-Dogg going to get a little development? Either treat him like a real character or kill him off.

They seem to be setting up a schism in the group of people backing Shane and people backing Rick. Andrea and T-Dogg said something in defense of Shane unleashing and shooting the barn walkers.

I asked this earlier, but it got passed over. Does this not make sense or did I just miss something;

So Rick and Glenn go to the bar to get Hershel and bring him back to the farm. After they leave, Lori tells Daryl that they need to go get Hershel and bring him back to the farm...
When he says no, she decides that it is so urgent that she now must hurry to the bar to get Hershel without asking anyone else for help or even bring a weapon.

iirc didn't she ask him "to bring back her husband"? It was as much about bringing Rick back safely as it was Hershel. Then after Daryl's "you never get your hands dirty" speech she wanted to go prove herself Andrea style and make shit worse.
