The Goading Belt page on FFXIAH has 40 positive responses on a comment saying it comes from Karkinos. Did I miss this being confirmed somewhere? Because I thought it was just a JP webisite rumor.

With regard to Goading belt as well as Hero's Galea and Saika Hachimaki, they are now confirmed drops from Lacovie (Abyssea - Tahrongi zone boss), as in the Abyssea - Tahrongi discussion thread.

I haven't seen a SS, but there are ~3-4 reports from people who got the drop.

Would someone please be willing to test how much dual wield the charis necklace (dnc af3 neck) gives?

I think though that any dual wield neck is the best if you're at 25% haste in other slots already, making tiercel useless. Though that epic acc neckpiece is sexy too.

Saika Hachimaki was supposely also dropped from carabossa and the goading belt from karkinkos so why would the top mega boss of tahrongi drop the same crap from lower tier monsters in la'theine lol. This might be to make up for Iratham who is the mega-mega boss. Idk.

Since the golden katana, somethingmasamune drops from la theien T3 VNM we're guessing auric dagger and the other gold weapon same style drops from the other T3 VNMs, so I'd look there first.

If it's following the pattern of the other NMs chances are if it is a T3 VNM that drops auric dagger expect it to drop the dagger hachimaki as well.

Im hearing talk of a SS of a JP with the bullwhip belt, can anyone confirm this? Apparently the guy said it dropped from the elemental boss in MMM run?

"Again"? On my server you can't enter ever thanks to it being the JP exp site. Every time I've needed to go there for whatever reason, Blu spells being the top one, I cannot enter because of 2/3 the JP population all trying to to MMM for exp.

Ya it barely has any hp but it's not a push over. You'd probably need a set of very well geared Rdms to duo it I'd guess. So far I think people have reported about 2/3 for drops/fights and Auric Dagger is probably 5% increase to DW. Absolutely a mage or cor fight though it flies 100% of the time. I'm not sure about Rng but if it's like regular wyrms probably not great damage.

Maybe the issue is you thinking you're too good to go begging on the streets of Aht Urghan for help with BLU spells.
