Ya it barely has any hp but it's not a push over. You'd probably need a set of very well geared Rdms to duo it I'd guess. So far I think people have reported about 2/3 for drops/fights and Auric Dagger is probably 5% increase to DW. Absolutely a mage or cor fight though it flies 100% of the time. I'm not sure about Rng but if it's like regular wyrms probably not great damage.

Parsed it to have ~31k hp last night when my LS killed. We had 4 BLMs and 2 RNG, took it down in about 10 minutes once we got it situated away from the Nauls, could easily have done it faster. RNG acually did better than our BLMs, but it was only our first time doing the NM so could just be chalked up to that. RNG still does do well though. Drops were Auric Dagger and 2 Cuelebre Horns. Only thing to worry about is when it 2 hours is to try to get people past 30' away or so to avoid the 3-4 Ocher Blasts and a Bai Wing consecutively. Or just have accession SS spammed. Quoted to add to info ect.

Maybe the issue is you thinking you're too good to go begging on the streets of Aht Urghan for help with BLU spells.

Nearly all our spells can be solod in normal camps at learn level anyway. For those that can't, the only MMMable one that comes to mind is Body Slam and they gain TP moves in WotG areas so I'm not sure I'd consider that a viable option. Maybe I missed something though, I don't do a lot of MMM.

Yeah its a somewhat challenging fight. It does have pretty low hp as Arc said. A couple things to note (I dont know if it was mentioned somewhere) is that it doesnt link with the Nauls. And you can pull it pretty easily away from the Nauls. We had some problems with them aggro'ing because we didnt move it far away initially. So hurricane wing from them and bai wing from cue isnt too swell.

Another thing to note was we were doing many nm's so we were PLD/nin because its just more versatile to a multitude of things you could do. If you were doing this run specifically for this NM, /nin is not really helpful. Whether you even need PLD, I dont really know but thats what we had.

The RNG did do more dmg than the BLM as mentioned but I dont know if the BLM were overly cautious or not. RNG generally speaking are never overly cautious ever so yeah. I still think BLM are a better dd on it, because they have stoneskin. RNG prob feeds it way more TP than BLM does. Its wings hit from very far away too, and the RNG are mp sinks to some degree.

Are Tonberrys the only mob family in Abyssea that are unfound? Trying to find Caller's Sash, which should be off the only timed spawn NM in Abyssea that hasn't popped yet.

In case it wasn't mentioned in here, Cirque Necklace (PUP JSE) was just found on the Opo-opo NM in Abyssea-La Theine "Keesha-Poppo." Along with Susurrus Sabatons (HP+90 set boots).

T4 MMM Voucher 09 NM is said to drop the Bullwhip Belt.

My bullshit meter is picking up some strong readings but who knows? It isn't beyond SE.
