It's different to come back to 3 expansions, 3 updates and Abbysea, than to come back because of 1 update. The amount of content to catch up with, makes me excited to play again. Problem, I'm not even sure where to begin. lol

I'm glad a few people I know are still around. It's unfortunate that many have moved server, but I guess it's like moving to another city/country. You can stay in touch.

Bahamut economy is not as bad as I expected it actually. A few things that I couldn't afford before, probably because they are obsolete, are now attainable for temporary use.

Getting things done though, is still a pain if you don't have the patience. Server definitely more JP dominated than it was at one point.

Those are just my initial impressions.
