Personally I'd get rid of the wii. I don't do party games too much, just fps and shit with my friends when we kick it.

No way I could give up my Wii, as little as I use it, if I sold it I'd just have to repurchase one to play new Zelda games. Also Monster Hunter 3 was awesome.
Whereas most games on on the other 2 consoles are interchangeable.
not to mention the Wii as a netflix machine leaves a little something to be desired, as it only outputs 480i for movies.
Even easier and cheaper than a console to operate is a Roku... why not just get her one of those? I don't see why you would have to give her a console if she is only going to be using it for Netflix.
Roku Player - Starting at 69.99. There. Done.
89.99 if she wants HD.
I meant more the FPS/playing online. Ask anyone that really loves their xbox what they play, and it's not going to be rpgs.
Also, besides Tales of Vesperia, what does the xbox have?
I guess I should give Infinite Undiscovery a try, and Lost Odyssey a second chance. But besides that, what else is there? (I really would like to know and get more use out of my xboxseriously)
Off the top of my head, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, Vesperia (gookrune version aside, fuck you Namco), Lost Odyssey, Fable, Kameo (dunno how far I'd go to call this an RPG, but it's very Zelda-like), Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (this got pretty bad reviews, but I thought it was pretty damn fun). Bunch I haven't played but are apparently decent like Risen, Two Worlds, Divinity 2, Too Human. I think a couple of them were on PC too but too lazy to double check, if you're not taking PC in to account too though you can probably throw in some more stuff, like Mass Effect.
I guess I should have thrown in a J in front of the RPG.
Oh, well then. Only the real big name devs seem to be making JRPGs nowadays (unless you're into the shitty crossover games like X-Edge), so they tend to go multiplatform. PS3 does seem to get the most of them though (or at least an upgraded version if not exclusives...).

Herpderp.
Of the ones Kiarax listed, Vasperia, Blue Dragon (don't personally recommend, but it couldn't hurt to try), Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery are definitely JRPGs. Mass Effect isn't a JRPG but it is very good, so I would definitely recommend that as well. Eternal Sonata as well (is alright, nothing special) and I think you've played Star Ocean 4 already. Also maybe Magna Carta (SRPG).
I figured he was looking for exclusives. Although don't forget that glorious Enchanted Arms if you want an amazing multiplatform RPG.
Ah, exclusives would make sense. I left out Enchanted Arms because it's... as you say just too amazing to list.
Don't get Mass Effect for 360 if you can play it on PC, even if you're specifically looking for more use out of your 360.
I can't really cosign that. The difference is absolutely minimal and the PC version of the first game is buggy as fuck. If it's something like Dragon Age you'd certainly be silly to play the console version over the PC, but either is fine in this instance.
I've played ME1 on 360 and PC, and honestly the differences are so minimal (the Mako is still fucking horrible to control). I think the impact would be bigger for ME2, but I can't say for sure since I've only played it on PC.
I just hated having to go to the ability wheel so often on 360. More buttons, etc.
ME2 controls just fine on 360. You're only going to be spamming 1 or 2 powers anyway, which you can map to the Y button and RB/LB. Controlling ally powers is a tad annoying since it's done with left and right on the dpad so I just use the power wheel, but I'm usually breaking up the action to strategize mid-fight anyway.
Also Divinity 2, Two Worlds, and Risen all came out for PC as well as 360. Divinity 2 is surprisingly decent, it's no oblivion but it's a heck of a lot more interesting than the other Oblivi-clones out there. I'm hoping Two Worlds 2 and Arcania are actually good but well... I doubt that'll happen lol.
And yea, Magnacarta 2 is a 360 exclusive, as is Too Human. Too Human was kinda ass, not really bad just ridiculously overhyped and not really worth the 10 year wait for it.
so...as asked before w/o any answers...why do you have to get rid of one system so your mom can get netflix?
I mean no offense, but if money's so tight that you have to sell off a used system to afford netflix, should you even be considering getting netflix?
I'd get rid of the wii. unless your 10 years old.
