Got my pre-order confirm email from pre-ordering it from EADM in January. Hopefully they'll let you pre-load the game on the 7th like steam does for games.

looks like you need to be on 3.56 to play DA2, but there's already a work around.
Wonder if I should d/l it for 360. Hope Pc one leaked soon.
development costs for games are skyrocketing as well, thats why the $60 pricetag. most games dont make back their cost
Man, I really hope there's no issue with me getting my sig. edition come Tuesday. A lot of people saying their sig editions from various online retailers are cancelled. Granted I ordered from Gamestop so it should come through alright, but who knows with the fuckwit employees there![]()
whats the limited edition come with aside from more free dlc items?
The exiled prince dlc for free
Is it free if you have to pay more for the limited edition? lol
I believe the "signature edition" was only for people who preordered before February. Signature Edition came with the exiled prince and all other preorder content. Preordering now gets you the sword and shield and the black emporium. Joystiq priced out the dlc as 7$ for the exiled prince, and if you don't preorder, the black emporium is 10$ (rape).

Oh and preloading starts on the 4th apparently, time of day varies with service you purchased from.
the black emporium is for all newly bought games just like shale and the cerberus network.
^
Signature edition comes with soundtrack, limited edition box art, a weapon for each class, and the exiled prince DLC. This was a free upgrade for those who pre-ordered prior to Jan 11th. As stated above, all new copies come with the black emporium, the mabari warhound, the mirror for changing how your character looks and mage and crafting stores. . All pre-orders come with the Fadeshear sword and Lion Of Orlais shield.
Double.
SNES games weren't vehicles to bait players into paying more to flesh out the experience they already paid for
edit: i thought this was an argument against DLC, not one rationalizing piracy. Teach me to reply to threads from my phone.
I thought this was a thread for Dragon Age 2, not a thread for bullshit rationalization for pirating. Piracy is wrong, no matter what excuses you make for it, so own up to it. I modded my wii, but I don't try to justify it with stupid excuses, the fact of the matter is I wanted to play games on it, and didn't have funds so I pirated. To say anything else would be pointlessly trying to justify doing something wrong. So, get back to discussing the game.
No one was talking about pirating.
Thanks for changing the conversation back to it though.

Dragon Age 2 Pre-loading and Unlocking times
Hi Dragon Age 2 PC gamers.
Many of you have been asking when you can pre-load Dragon Age 2 onto your machines. Pre-loading happens with digital versions of DA2 and is installing the game so it is ready to play once the unlock time arrives. Pre-loading is not available from all retailers. Check with your retailer to see if they offer pre-loading. You have also been asking when the game will unlock so you can start playing, which applies to digital and retail PC copies. These pertain to PC versions and not to console versions of Dragon Age 2.
Pre-Loading is based on the region you live in. Pre-loading of digital versions begins at the following times:
Asia/Pacific region – 18:00 GMT on March 4th
Canada & United States – 18:00 GMT on March 4th
Russian Federation - 18:00 GMT on March 4th
Western Europe – 10:00 GMT March 7th
Australia & New Zealand – 09:00 GMT on March 8th
Central and South America - 10:00 GMT on March 8th
Eastern Europe – 10:00 GMT March 8th
Great Britain & Ireland – 10:00 GMT on March 8th
Unlocking is based on the official game release date for the region you live in. The PC versions, both digital and retail, will unlock beginning at the following times:
Asia/Pacific region – 0000h on March 8th
Canada & United States – 0000h on March 8th
Russian Federation - 0200h on March 8th
Western Europe – 0000h on March 10th

Wow.. blackcats has the game up on PS3/360 already. Might see the PC version hit before it even releases. (SE is gonna be sent via amazon, but I would be an idiot to pass up playing the game ASAP)
Got mine coming Tuesday, Preordered that shit back in Nov. Plus I have plenty of games to hold me over until Tuesday, which is no big deal for me.
Its almost time!
