This is easily the worst Bioware game I've ever played. It looks like crap on the 360 and the story is TERRIBLE. I don't care about any of these stupid characters and I really don't care about the Hawke family.

Your brother is a little bitch for no reason whatsoever other than having a little-brother complex, Aveline is hardcore devoted to Hawke because, uh... uhm... oh right, she just is. Also, thanks for that year where I have no idea what Hawke was up to. Apparently it was pretty shitty, since the NPCs say it was. Sure would've been nice to see what happened during that time period. Oh, and thanks for artificially lengthening the game by FORCING me to do almost all of the sidequests that become available to me.

The game is basically Mass Effect 2 but without a good reason to be doing what your doing. I mean, shit, there's even a character that you could easily mistake for Tali!

I'm honestly trying my best to like it, but goddamn. ME2 is superior as far as storytelling is concerned simply because ME1 existed to set up the story. ME2 also did a pretty damn good job of giving the NPCs a good reason to follow you. I guess my big problem is the total lack of motivation I've seen thus far. Granted, I respect Hawke's motivation. Get money, fuck bitches. Amirite?

The battle system is a good deal of fun, though!

I searched around gamefaqs after i asked the question (lol), and I we can. Your supposed to be able to respec at the Black Emporium, it's also where you can change your appearance

Requirements:
Using high-resolution textures requires a graphics card with at least 1024MB video memory.
Most of the benefits from the Hi-resolution textures will only be seen if you are able to run the game in DirectX 11.


Note: In order to enable the "Very High" setting you will need a video card that supports DX11 and the latest drivers.

Reqs for the hi-res texture pack. So yeah, like I said you'll need 1gb VRAM, preferably more. Any of the Nvidia 400 series (1GB models) and above or the ATI 5770 (may be pushing it, probably 5850 a better choice) or above should be alright to run them.

Saren, Sovereign and the geth, the realization that the Citadel was created by the reapers as a mass effect drive, the huge epic battle at the end on the Citadel was brilliant. Those shitty collectors and that lame ass Human Reaper of an ending paled in comparison if you just think about it. To me, it felt like ME2 was mainly for character development, developing the relationship between Shepard and Cerberus which all leads to a build up for ME3 which looks like it's going to be fucking amazing. Like I said earlier, I really enjoyed ME2 but spending most of the time doing personal favors for people like an errand boy then a few hours of actual story based missions is not better story telling than the first.
