I'll be the first one to bitch about bad DLC. Such as stuff like paying for in game cheats (Burnout games, Godfather, etc.) or things that are already on the disc (costumes in SF4, and the like... but buy them anyway >_> )

All Bioware is doing here is rewarding the fans who preordered early. The day I found out about sig. edition I preordered it. What kind of a better deal are you going to get than that? I'm not brainwashed by EA. Bioware has been doing this at least for a year and a half now. If anything, this is going to become more and more normal as time goes on. Devs/publishers NEED a way to keep new game sales flowing. Used game sales don't see them profit in any way. So they offer incentives for players to buy it new. If you preorder it, it also helps them gauge how much hype there will be for the game as well. Sure they haven't done a sig. edition before. But if you read any kind of game sites, then there's no reason you shouldn't know about it. Also there is no reason you had to buy a standard edition anyway. You could have gone into any big chain store and probably found them. I know I was in my local Best Buy picking up something else and saw at least 10 copies of the sig. edition. Not to mention Kyo stated Gamestop had them up on the website. Oh well for you I guess.

Back to topic. Loving this game. I have 9.5 hours on it and am still on the first year. Can't wait to see what else happens!

I was going to post a longer repsonse, but I have think I'm getting trolled here. You are still getting a full game when you buy the non-signature; you're just so painfully butthurt that you're a lazy asshole who either A)Forgot to preorder and is now crying on the internet or B) Didn't forget but didn't want to pay the same price for more content. Face it, your beef isn't with EA/Bioware, it's with DLC, but this certainly is a good excuse to pass the buck while bandwagoning your hate against them eh? But by all means, keep crying, because this is some quality entertainment watching someone cry so fucking hard over a $7 DLC.

There is good and bad DLC.

Burnout Paradise was an example of mostly good DLC. Lots of free stuff, some stuff you could pay for but didnt have to get if you didnt want such as extra cars and the island expansion (which was great and well worth the $).

Games with "Stuff youll unlock if you play anyways" DLC kinda irk me. Soul Caliber . .um.. IV i think.. had a lot of this.

With that said i will be getting the paid DLC for this game. The quality of the game so far as well as all the free DLC i have already, such as the sign up for x gear and the high res texture pack, means i have no problem shelling out the price of a value meal for more content.
