Yeah, that's how I died the first time. Got clipped and he just spam knocked me over. As a Rogue, it just punished me too much.... I also hated how freakish his range would be. Chain stunned also sucks when you're desperately trying to heal yourself before you go down.

I'll probably do mage next seeing as how Warrior seems almost the same as it did it DA:O, and I spent most of my time in that game as a warrior.

I got sick of the warrior tank girl disliking everything I did so I swapped her out for the brown girl with the big titties (I'm good with names, I know) so now it's me as a DD rogue, dwarf rogue guy with his bow, and brown girl as more of a helpful rogue with abilities to evade and obscure the party. I have no tank now so it's pretty cool having 3 of those aoe stun things rogues use to control the fight, and titty girl can shroud my dudes so they evade a bunch if things get rough. It's quite a bit more fun this way and the level of control is pretty good. Once I have to fight a real boss I will almost surely have to bring in the tank girl again but all these other encounters are great.

On another note I just recently got the elf mage girl and she is really funny in dialogue. Does she continue to be super awkward and funny as a background character?

I don't think so. Whatever you do during the earlier quest, you are after the wrong suspect and I don't think theres any way to get it to lead to the real criminal. I think your mom dying is an inevitable part of the story. Again, could be wrong but I haven't seen any ways to save her.

Electronic Arts has landed itself in hot water with PC gamers after failing to disclose the digital rights management snuck onto Dragon Age II. The disc-based version of the game contains notorious SecuROM DRM -- a controversial bit of software that invites itself onto your PC and is regarded by gamers as glorified malware.

The worst part is that Electronic Arts does not inform gamers about the DRM anywhere -- there's no warning on the game's packaging or website, and it's suspiciously absent from the EULA. Consumer rights advocate "Reclaim Your Game" has been emailing subscribers to warn them of EA's shenanigans, which violates a court order demanding it disclose all instances of SecuROM in its games.

Add in the general hatred PC gamers have had for the sequel, and the possibility of one gamer being banned from BioWare's forums and subsequently unable to boot up his copy of the game, and you've got a bad PR recipe.

What? OP? Playing mage on hard, and getting a hard time to get my crowd control spells (glyphs etc.) to stick long enough to have an effect. The spell cool down is also super high... thinking of switching to rogue the next time...

I saved before the templar/mage save, and went with the templars.. Man, I felt like crap both ways! Worse with the Templars though.. Wish Cullen led the portion instead of meredith.

Knocking people back with normal hits annoys me. Char doesn't fpllow up and I have to click them again to attack them <_<

If you are playing on PC the r key is a magic "go kill the closest thing or, if everything is dead, collect the closest loot you see" button. It is nice since i seem to knock enemies back a ton on war.

You do have to see the enemy/loot on screen to run to it though.

Exiled prince achievements arent unlocking, this is a known issue, they're working on it. I personally have them all unlocked on my social account but not in my achievement list on xbawks.
