Is the Romantic trophy glitched or is there more to it than just flirting and sleeping with the character?

There's a trophy for "Flirtatious" ; beginning a relationship (I got this as I made the choice to sleep with the person)
and then theres "Romantic" ; completing a romance. (I haven't gotten this yet). There are more quests after you sleep with them, so I assume you have to continue with the story line of quests. Or it could just be you have to get far enough in the game. idk, i'm not that far yet.

Is there any point to exploring books,statues,letters aside from just adding it to your Codex? I remember in Dragon Age 1 it used to give you like a tiny boost of experience per discovery (like 50 or so)

About the Forbidden Knowledge quest..

I took all the books during the quest instead of destroying them, but I can't get the journal to swap over. I eventually had to look it up to see that someone posted you can't finish this quest if you took the books (which I'm assuming is a glitch?). Anyone actually taken them and have been able to finish it? I noticed when looking it up you end up fighting one of the monsters that's needed for a trophy, so it's kind of annoying I can't figure out how to get this quest to keep going.

Did I miss my chance to get Isabel somehow? I passed the 2nd time skip where I get the title of Champion. I'm doing the mission for templar bitch where I have to find 3 mages.
I don't see how I could have missed it, because I have done every single quest I get.

also; wonder if its going to be possible for me to get 100% critical chance. I'm at 60%chance and 184% crit damage atm.

You definitely missed Isabela, she can be picked up in the hanged man before you do the deep roads expedition.

also, looking further into trophy stuff, looks like I missed quite a few other trophies, mostly picking up codex's for quests.
Oh well, I definitely plan on playing this at least once more.

This was glitched for me. I started the final leg of the story, and went to her house. She was crying about some shit (along the lines of your spoiler) I have no idea about and I can't progress. :D

The boss at the end of Act 2 is fucking horseshit as a rogue.

No fucking clue how to beat this dude other than kite for 40min and throw my bomb when he charges and pray it stuns him. Keeping the dog out just seems to force him to heal himself when the dog takes hate. If I wait around to hit him it takes about a third of my life away when he connects which usually leads to AT LEAST one more hit to me; no fucking bows on me either

After about 15 minutes of beating him down as a tank warrior and watching him drink potion after potion, I said fuck him and used a console command to kill him. Really stupid fight.

Everyone who is having trouble with the 1 on 1 fight, I hope you know that you can refuse the duel and do a full party fight instead.

Just romance someone else and it'll give you option to break off other.

Just beat the High Dragon. Holy fuck is that a rough fight. Some awesome lootage though!
