I didn't, even though there is a little resemblance there, but probably just our imaginations. Anyway, I wouldn't think it's a plot point, cause if DA2 allows you to customize your character's appearance, then there's no good way to link the two together.
Though I do remember reading, either in this topic or somewhere else that Morrigan's baby had nothing (or little) to do with DA2.
I thought DA2 took place alongside the events of DA:O?
I dunno about that, I don't think they mentioned when it started in relation to DA:O.
DA2 is a 10 year story spanning from the start of Origins and future events.
I have no idea what this game is going to be like, I have not yet played the first one, but god damn that was an awesome "trailer". I can't remember animated fighting that good since Onimusha 3.
If only the game actually looked like that:
"All of Bioware's CGI trailers are done by an outside company called Blur Studio who also did a lot of other popular video game trailers/cinematics." (from kotako)
By the way, play the first one, it was a pretty awesome game. Play it on PC though, as it by far the best control and is the only version you can zoom out to an overhead view(besides mac, which has 1/4 of the DLC content and tends to have lag).
I plan on playing the first one some time. I know it's best on PC, but I love me some trophies.![]()
I knew that had nothing to do with gameplay, just looked really awesome.
It's more of the game having no option for the grindan. I was completely turned off by the game when I realized that you couldn't eventually max everything out for any given character, and you would never see every spell/ability for even one class without quitting and starting from scratch.
Everything else was extremely well, but if I feel like grindan, I should be able to go grindan.
This game however had massive replay value built into it though, between six starting stories and the 4 or 5 major plot decisions. Yes they all brought you to the same place, but the story was complex and detailed enough to make it worth wile to do at least a few playthroughs.
Also, kicking the the difficulty up a notch made each run through much different and significantly more challenging. Most games that really doesn't happen.
I love me a good console game, but trophy whore or not, I still would go PC with this one. There's a huge difference in only being able to see over characters shoulders and birds eye view. It's pretty crucial if you plan to play the game on any setting besides easy or normal. I can't even imagine nightmare setting from third person view.
If you want to max every spell/talent you could always use the item duplication exploit on tomes.![]()

I dunno man, game looks like shit.
Only games that are months out and people bitch about how they look.
