Btw, beat the game myself, archery rogue with assassin, way too broken, way way too broken, like easy mode to the max. My girl got really pissed when i one-shot desire demons and other elites. The biggest assassinate i chucked was 7k damage. I'm thinking of doing a 2nd run as a blood mage... My 2nd hawke is black... Bethany is a hot black woman.

the man on man options are kinda lame too. Fenris has the same wiry twink bullshit going on that Zevran did, and Anders is like fucking the so-so starbucks barista that probably only looks cute after a couple beers. I would have liked to romance Sebastian with those dreamy blue eyes and accent but alas, the cute ones are always straight.

yeah, Fenris were my favorite character in the game. He was a damn good DD/tank hybrid with AoE stun etc. He was also pretty much immune to magic damage with all of those lyrium ghost upgrades.

Because of his specialization he was probably my favorite person to include in my group, but sometimes he annoys me with his terrible-antimage-brood. I just end up pretending he's Balthier half the time anyway.

Haha. I couldn't kill Anders, despite everything. I just felt bad, and was like "OK COME WITH ME"..... Also sorta helped that as the ONLY healer, I needed him the first time.. And then I couldn't do it any other time. Damnit Anders.

Archery Rogue is also really awesome. Since I've already beaten it 3 times, I went ahead and tried out the money/exp glitch... Pretty damn hilarious. Level 33, lots of talents, FUN STUFF. Assassinate with a bow is awesome.

Second play through as an assassinate rogue. My highest assassinate on a brittle target was 84,000. 8-9k hits are pretty normal with it (if the target has enough life for both daggers to hit). Double dagger 4tw =) Used bow on 1st chapter fight, 2nd chapter duel, and a little bit on high dragon when I couldn't shrug threat off, and had to hit him from range or he'd plow my face.

I have to agree that assassinate as a archery rogue is pretty broken. Whenever a named elite or w/e pops up w/ huge amounts of HP, I would just use pinpoint strike > assassinate > the ability where the arrow goes through multiple targets = dead mob. It's how I killed some of the tougher bosses that had wave and wave of adds. Would just handle adds w/Merrill (other 2 on boss) and everytime assassinate came off of CD I would just target the boss and then go back to adds lol.

It's also how I solo'd the Arishtok >.> Took like 10+ minutes since he kept using HP pots (lol), but would just kite until assassinate was on CD > then goad him into atking and use assassinate and that arrow move that goes through multiple targets > go back to kiting.

I don't know how else you could solo him tbh... mage seems rough even w/ kiting since everytime he did hit me it did huge dmg.. and I could only imagine if I was in cloth. Not to mention he uses hp pots frequently and any high dmg mage spell takes a bit to cast and it seems like he would just heal to frequently. Warrior could prolly straight tank / dps him down though and just kite when you need to recover hp though
