It's not exactly the same as the Scientology example because when ppl think of Scientology they usually associate the US as one of the largest populations, but India's ~160 million muslims is a larger Muslim population than most if not all of of the Arabic Middle East.

Problem: the percentage of Indian Muslims as related to India's population (161 million out of 1.18 billion), is greater than the population of Indian Muslims in relation to all Muslims (161 million out of about 1.57 billion). That is, about 13.6% of Indians are Muslim, but only about 10.2% of Muslims are Indian. Ergo, you are in fact more likely to be correct if you assume an Indian is Muslim than you are if you assume a Muslim is Indian.

It's silly either way, but thought I'd point that out.
