Switching from Lexapro to Citalopram

Wife was on Celexa before she got pregnant, got off because of that. And is now back on. She has had zero side effects. Her sex drive is very normal.

I'm on Celexa now, 40mg. Been on it for about 5 weeks. Doing pretty well for me. I have a severe anxiety disorder, and have gone through many meds in my life, including Paxil, Cymbalta, Lexapro, Wellbutrin and Effexor. I can't tell if this is the "best" for my axiety because I ht a really huge period of panic in the last year and so it's hard to say but my sex drive/potency is normal, and I generally experience very few side effects on this drug. Which is more than can be said for most other pills.

That being said, shit's situational. Drugs affect everyone differently. Feel it out, start on 20mg and give it at least a week or two.

And you should be good, i'd always prefer the first generation but hopefully you will have success.
