    What gear do I absolutely need for COR 70+? Other then Joytoy, Martial, Walmart hat, Swift Belt.

    Whats the minimal time / stones you need to do a 6hr long abyssea? My linkshell is interested in doing these super long EXP runs and I am trying to organize something before next week. Doesn't have to be THAT long but how long would a run with 1 1/2 - 2 hours saved up get us?

    Last night I entered Abyssea, the alliance had been there for a while already. I went in with 90 minutes, 90 minutes later i exited with about 90 minutes left because of time chests. Hope that helps.

    Does Attack affect ranged attacks or is that just Ranged Attack? Debating between buying Dusk Pants for cor or just using Aurore Brais. I lose the 14 attack but gain 3% haste and 9 Acc for Joytoy tp building and the only loss for WS would be 1 ranged acc.

    With 1 1/2 you could go on forever if you know what you're doing/get lucky with chests. If you're repping someone in a party that's going strong you could go in with 1 stone and be fine. But if you're starting it from scratch I'd say have 3 stones.

    Are there any abyssite that would help? I am looking at this right here http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Sc...site_of_Kismet would this be something everybody should get? Or just BLMs or mages?

    Attack is for melee, ranged attack is for ranged. The only exceptions to this I know of are on some random pet gear.

    Aurore is 100% better than Dusk for melee TPing. You can either make full use of the accuracy because you're skill is low or you can just remove accuracy elsewhere in your build (sushi might overcap you). Dusk's attack doesn't affect TP frequency like haste and accuracy do.

    For WS it depends entirely on how much you care about inventory. Dusk is 10 ranged accuracy, aurore is 9: 10> 9. Of course there's also Oily, Enkidu's, etc that are also in the mix.

    Alright, that's what I thought I was just making sure. And I don't mind the inventory -1 but I don't really feel like paying 160k for 1 Ranged Acc.

    Wally/PCA/Brutal/Suppa
    Aurore/Dusk/Rajas/Ulthalam's
    Amemet+1/Swift/Aurore/Skadi

    Slug:
    Aurore/Light g/Drone/Drone
    Denali/Crimson/Rajas/Flame or Mermans (depends if merits or big stuff)
    Amemet+1/Buccaneers/Oily trousers/Skadi

    Using Squid +1 most of the time if I have to melee, if I have to shoot for tp I use Vulcan/Reaver+1 combo and Squid or Pot-au-feu depending on what I'm fighting. Hardly had accuracy issues at 80 without merits (and Hunter's roll).

    Hmm. Filled up a few slots, But Skadi and Crimson are currently out of reach, And I took Balrahn's so can't use Ulthalam's. Also don't know if I have enough Icor for Buccaneers. Suggestions on what to put in those slots until I get those? (Not so much for Ulthalam's unless the implement switching AU rings)
    And what are the path did you take that Magnatus?

    Edit: And Oily are really expensive, Couldn't I use Aurore there as well?

    Given rog's estimate of the +str being 2.87% to damage, that makes the net effect before comparing with the 2% WS damage of the MKE head as being +1.1% for /war and +2.0% for /drg. Since you're giving up 2% in straight WS damage, it's at best a wash, and at worst a ~1% loss.


    Also, for non-Haguns (if you switch to one of the Magians), the secondary hits will have slightly greater weight, so should be a loss in all cases where accuracy matters.
    Thank you kindly that pretty much sums up my speculation with actual numbers for this considering it was the greater weight of double and triple attacks I was concerned about. Now time to go tweak some macros.

    This may have been asked but is there any place in Ifrit's Cauldron where Bombs are clustered together or is roaming the only option? If roaming is the only option, is there a particular map or path that's most efficient to do it on?

    OR

    Is there a place in Halvung where single bombs are somewhat clustered?
