Skillchain Bonus trait from DNC and SAM, does it have to be them who closes the skillchain for this to work? Or can they open the skillchain?
More importantly, can I have a DNC open a skillchain and a SAM close it with Sengikori to gain Skillchain Bonus II for the SC and Sengikori bonus for Magic Bursts?
How do I resolve a POL-2062 error?
You don't, unless you tell us what that error is.
Does anyone have the comic/picture of the man who is obsessed with the game hungry hungry hippos and his wife says "the hippos will ALWAYS be hungry!! *sob"???
I think I have to use another effect .DAT. I couldn't find anything like the Mog-Tablet in the NPC list. I did manage to find this in the effects list though:
Mog-Tablet Sparkle
That sparkle appears quickly and vanishes, then another slightly smaller sparkle appears just above the moogles left wing.
The animation has a second option in AltanaViewer that shows what looks like a line of dust moving away from your character:
Line of Dust
Is that how the Mog-Tablets look and act?
Error Code: POL-2062
An unexpected problem occurred. Persistent problems can be reported from Service and Support.
Before I DCed, I was exiting out of Abyssea LaTheine. I was stuck at the download screen for a while.
Edit: Restarted PS3 completely and the issue was resolved.
At what points would int +4 beat MAB +2 or vice versa for nuking with rdm and sch? How about int +5?
This really depends on what tier nuke you're casting and the amount of MAB you already have. Generally, higher tier nukes (IV, AM2, -gaIII, V) get more out of MAB than Int while lower tier nukes gain more out of Int (Helixes use a similar damage model as Aero I, so it's best to stack Int).
It'd probably be best to try out both options and see what works for your character and gear. Also keep in mind that Int helps with resists and you'll want at least enough Int for dInt to be greater than zero.
So the answer isn't very clear cut. It depends on what gear you already have, the nuke, and the mob.
To help clarify:
For rdm & sch: Teal body/legs, Moldavite Earring, Hecate's Cape; for rdm: Morrigan's Cuffs. So +15 MAB for sch, +20 MAB for rdm. Both get second level trait of +24 (sch from /rdm). So: +39 total for sch, +44 for rdm. Also: HQ Ice/Thunder/Earth staves, NQ otherwise.
Spells: High tier 4 nukes/stone 5 for sch, high tier 3/low tier 4 nukes for rdm.
Not fighting anything HNM-level. Abyssea NMs at best. Int in the 110-120 range for both, depending on a few gear swaps, and a bit more with food.
What exactly is the use of "elseif" in spellcast xml? Can someone give me an example of its use please?
Each elseif statement only processes if the prior elseif or if statement DIDN'T. This allows you to set priority within spellcast, while maintaining else statements. The same could be accomplished with <else><if></if></else> but it's messier and doesn't multilayer.Code:<if MPLT="200"> <command>wait 8; input /ja "Convert" <me></command> <command>wait 12; input /ma "Cure IV" <me></command> </if> <elseif HPLT="900"> <command>wait 10; input /ma "Cure IV" <me></command> </elseif> <elseif notbuffactive="Refresh"> <command>wait 8; input /ja "Composure" <me></command> <command>wait 11; input /ma "Refresh" <me></command> <command>wait 16; cancel 419</command> </elseif> <elseif notbuffactive="Addendum: White"> <command>wait 8; input /ja "Light Arts" <me></command> <command>wait 11; input /ja "Addendum: White" <me></command> </elseif> <elseif notbuffactive="Stoneskin"><command>wait 8; input /ma "Stoneskin" <me></command></elseif>

Has anyone gotten a colorful abyssite to upgrade whilst in the possession of a colorful demliune abyssite? Just hit 0/40 flat on Purple Abyssite for the last couple days and starting to think they may have spaghetti coded something.
