If you mean to exp rdm there you just cocoon and kclub every sheep til all of their chigoes pop and keep phalanx/blaze spikes up. If you mean to pop chigoes for a group you obviously don't kill them so yeah, Cocoon.

Could do Bostinaiue Oblette(sp) sewers under sandy castle. Tons of leeches in the downstairs part that you can ws on and they do attack down.

I've beaten it easily with WHM BRD MNK, could maybe even lose the BRD. When it chainspells you just run away and it sorta just stays put as it keeps trying to cast on its current target, but the target is out of range. After chainspell wears off it will return to whoever has hate and you continue.

I'd think if they didn't then we would have been killing them by sac-pulling them 1 at a time like that since the beginning.

If it does work I'd be surprised, both that it works and that no one thought to try it before.

I'm pretty sure none of the old BCNMs have battlefield hate. I honestly just don't think any of the groups that couldn't kill it normally bothered to try it, would love to see someone find out for sure though.

Edit: In fact I remember helping a pickup group sometime within the last few months and we wiped. I'm pretty sure I remember people sacing outside ally to get people raised, and not having all the mobs kill everyone. I could be wrong though.

To my knowledge, the old battlefields have zone linking, but not outside alliance hate. You can sac to get people up, you can't sac to single pull.

It's ok, it's hard to figure out how much hp you need to activate a latent that is active at <76% hp.
