Comparatively, the flesh in Xarc is much easier to learn on than skeleton.

Cap is a bitch because if you keep him pinned too far without doing any actions on him during the 2hr phase, he will depop. To avoid this, I simply kite Cap during the 2hr phase then repin him.

You can also pull a normal mob to the pinning spot.

Okay, I am coming back to FFXI after a 6month break.. had left NIN at 54. With all the new things that have been implemented into the game, are NINs still sought after as tanks?

NIN is pretty much shit and less desired than BLU at this point. Future updates may change that but the only bonus nin has gotten excluding equipment was a -15% atk ninjutsu.

DRK is more of a pseudo melee tank. BLU would be better if you were not meleeing at all due to enmity spell nerf, but yeah pretty much.

Is Provoker (Stone Gorget) any hard? I know he's level 60, but the only reason I ask is because the :talk page for otherwiki had some full party testimonials but it wasn't clear if they were pre or post patch. I would imagine it's easy, I just don't want to waste my pop item since, apparently, Satiator is heavily camped on Unicorn.

The last three testimonials are post-patch I believe, though I can't imagine it being ferociously difficult given the solo THF/NIN testimonial among those. If it's anything like Boroka post-patch he's a joke.

It was an easy solo at 50, and it's still easy at 80.
