I use blinkmenot. I also TP in dusk.

So, when disengaged and swapping to non-Decrease Movement hands, Dusk is still visible. Does this mean I'm still running at slow speed or does the equip change take effect even though Blinkmenot hasn't recognized it yet?

First thought is vunkerl, but probably too crowded. Try Crabs in Pash_S, near the Luremarsh, I/J-7. 7 pops, but a couple of the south ones roam fairly far west. Occasionally you'll get a Gob Toxophilite passing though, but should be able to dodge, and he's weak anyway - can tp on it and target WS on a nearby crab.

If you actually go to the left as soon you port in. There is like 2 crabs and 2 pugils there that most people dont seem to touch as the go around the other way.

Am I missing something with VNMs? I have killed Feuerunke at least 12 times, probably closer to 15, and have not gotten a Purple Abyssite.

I've started leveling monk and I'm just wondering what I should be focused on at 80. For TP I'm assuming Haste, Acc, Att. For WS I'm assuming Acc and Att. For now I'm going to stick with Asuran until I unlock the multi hit and use Foot Work. Are my assumptions right? For Ws would I swap in Kirin Osode and Str rings? Usu legs over haidate? Assume my acc will be around 410ish in all situations because that is what I will be shooting for

What's the bare minimum you could kill Manananggal with? And what sort of jobs would be best to use?

I typically fought it with PLD/NIN DD/NIN WHM/??? RDM/??? as the minimum. PLD functions moreso as a safety net if something goes wrong such as a very high damage spinal cleave. I was MNK/NIN for the DD slot.

Stun is nice to have for after a spinal cleave or if some other issue comes up. DD/NIN could be DRK for that purpose or have the RDM sub DRK.

I assume in theory the bare minimum would be a DD/NIN with HP boost(s) (atma and/or abyssite enhanced cruor HP boost) and a healer with lots of meds. The DD may preferably be SAM to take advantage of third eye when it puts away weapon or MNK to counter when it's in that state. Duo is likely risky though.

I'm a fan of Crawler's Nest for this. Plenty of normal vermin to kill on the second "upstairs" map, and if you pop Demonic Tiphia then you never have to change targets and can just spam Vorpal Scythe until your trial completes.

For a Bst with fully-merited axe, what would be the ideal Rampage setup for anything outside of HNMs? I know it'll vary a bit with the evasiveness of the various types of mobs you fight.

In the same vein, what about Primal Rend?

Most of what you're assuming is completely right. Tornado Kick is 3 hit though so you're second and third hit will suffer if you go balls out STR. I use Usu Legs over Haidate but I personally don't use a second STR ring. You could probably get away with it with Kyoshu Kyahan but I assume you have/are going for Poise Shoes.

Also keep in mind, with the impending update, the somewhat broken Footwork build could fall behind unless they release new shoes again.
