What's a good Sigil or FoV camp to solo bird superfamily mobs? Bats, Colibri, whatever, just need a source of refresh for DRG/mage and we lost the candy a while back. I'm aware of giant bats in Abyssea Tahrongi (just knocked out almost half my trial on them) but I'd like to be able to complete this trial during the day tomorrow which precludes group play.

Lasts for one hour, stays if you zone.

There's a few spots with no magic aggro and a few birds near where you zone in from Hall Of The Gods and then take the teleport over to the main Sky island. IDK if there'd be enough pops for you though, I imagine your drg would kill birds quicker than my warrior did at 75.

Every time I attempt to buy abyssea I get POL - 0011 on my PS2 and POL - 0033 on my laptop. Both are connection errors but i am able to stay logged on for hours with no problem… I've tried connecting both directly to the modem and it did not work, tried resetting the router and the modem and still nothing…i've been getting these errors for the last 2 days also. Anyone have any suggestions of what else i can try to make it work? i've sent SE a email already still no reply tho.

There may be registration server maintenance at the moment. If that's not it (and it usually is) do you have the right Playonline version for your game? I.e. if playing on EU version, do you have EU POL? I think though there's been alot of registration server maintenance recently.

Depending on how long your kills take, I believe the ones in the Oubliette still give xp, you just have to contend with 16min repop timers.

Um, Kuftal worms might be alright. Bostanieux/Toraimarai slimes are probably your best option though if repops aren't too bad.

Flamingos! It's really easy to avoid magic agro, just run over to a corner on the grass. Obviously you wouldn't be running around in the middle next to the pottery.

Remember you can fight mobs as weak as 56 so you could just go DRG/DNC and self heal with drainsamba2 (doubtful healing would consume more TP than that), optimally you're killing lvl56 mobs outside with 5 minute respawns.

There's a solid bird maze map too that has quite a few mobs in it, a couple dozen at least I think or whatever the standard amount of mobs is. The big benefit of that is you also get a good amount of XP in it, no need to encounter competition in a camp, and you can usually get assitance quickly. If you have multiple people trying to spam them you can also enter with a level 56ish person to speed up kills, but they go fast enough and decent XP if you're all the same level.

Now FFXI won't open with windower, any one ever done this and know how I can set it up so Windower will open FFXI again?

Likely with status bolts, I soloed on cor/nin without much effort, just had to kite sometimes when shadows were down, spam bloody bolts and you should be good.

Need to edit registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > PlayOnlineUS > InstallFolder

Change 0001 value to your new FFXI folder and 1000 value to your new POL folder.
