FoV augments are completely random so you might as well do them at the cheapest location for the item you're augmenting, or whatever location happens to be convenient.

ACP Fei'yin fight can give some pet stat earring augments, could spam that on the side.

Any advice on solo conquering a starter zone that isn't Gustaburg?

Purchase the armor/weapons from an NPC or farm it?
Roughly how many pieces are needed?
How early should the trading to the Outpost NPC before conquest end begin and for how long?
How costly is the task?

From what i remember, there's some cheap items you can buy from npcs that work well, and usually ends up costing 1-2m or so total, assuming you don't do any exping, though i have no idea what items were used, or if there are better ones now.

Cept, the one time I tried to get Saruta, apparently some JP douchebags actually had ~15ish people out there like 2-3 hrs before Tally specifically working to keep the OP Windy controlled. Was me and 1 other guy trying to take it, was nothing we could do.

I recommend the ACP Seed Mandragora fight, the ASA Cardian fight, collecting the 3 ACP Seedspall items, collecting the 3 MKE items from Giddeus/Ghelsba/Pals, and the ACP Fei'Yin run for Azure Key.

Those can all yield very nice pet items... if you're extremely lucky.

Think that Blau/Joy is less DoT, but you have Evisceration to play with. So I think they come out to be pretty even.

And I'm pretty sure the obis just affect damage, but I could be wrong.

Asking about Experimental Lamia again:

Gonna take a small group of nukers out there to zone-nuke her as suggested. Thinking BLM BLM SCH and some TH4. The only info I can't really find is about her adds. I've read that she only pops these adds if she is meleed, and I've also read that she will pop them anyways. I'm concerned about them because the RDM add can cure E. Lamia, and the two SAMs can open with melee attacks as soon as a nuker nukes Lamia before zoning, leading to what I'm assuming to be a lot of damage on my nukers.

Also, if anyone has a good idea on her HP, that would be very helpful as well.

There's no info about her adds because she's glitched and you can safely ignore them completely due to the glitch.

I think so, but I'm not absolutely sure. From a PT a few nights ago:

Got the same ~4 second delay between readying and results being seen in the log, so looks like it is. Unless you're talking about Khalamari's version of it, then I have no idea.

Khalamari's Mantle Pierce is a conal attack rather than single target like a normal Xzomit's Mantle Pierce is. As such, Third Eye will not be able to anticipate the attack.

j/j is slightly better, though often the difference is so small, that it's not really worth using stones for.

Assuming full merits in Unlimited Shot, does using Unlimited Shot as soon as it comes up again push Double Shot's cooldown to maximum?

Similarly, with full merits in High Jump, does using High Jump as soon as it comes up again push Spirit Jump's cooldown to maximum?

I have an E8500 core2 duo 3.16 ghz, 4GB, 9800 GTX+ machine. I'm running at 1680x1050 overlay and same background resolution. Why do I still have to get 18 FPS running around Bastok Mines? More than a few characters on my screen and I still get choppy FPS. Can someone recommend me some solutions? My machine was built early '09 so it should be more than enough for this damn game, but why can't I have smooth gameplay? =(
