if you don't mind using a 3 hour food, i'd recommend hedgehog pie. 90 att, 6 str, +5 acc, lasts 3 hours. runs about 20k on alexander.

Bison Steak is another option. 3 hour food, 90 att, 6 str and usually dirt cheap, like less than 5k.

Hedgehog is where i got too also, though not much difference in cost to yellow buns and less risk of losing it through death.

Another one that I always check for on the AH is Royal Sautee. Hq of Coeurl Sautee and its actually cheaper since you cant make subs out of it.

Ifrit's Cauldron seems to be the "go to" place for bomb trials. Enter at I-6 from Yhoator, and then I'd just wander around maps 2 and 4; with myself on mnk/war at 80 and a dual boxed whm for hastes, cure, and shell (and barfira) I'd complete the "circuit" just as the first mobs started re-popping. I teamed up with a few mnks and pups on bomb trials here, and it was easy.

Does anyone know what site or specific webpage the "Use the Authentication Service" link in POL is linked to?

The page comes up after you update your credit card information via POL. I would assume it takes you to a password verification webpage for Verified by Visa/Mastercard cards, which mine is. However, after hours of looking and searching other forums for answers and getting no help from support, I can't seem to figure out where that link takes me to finish the process. I get a standard Vista error when I click it and POL closes. I've tried several times.

Don't bother, they're hopelessly out of date. If you have a look in the previous random question thread, someone (maybe rog?) has updated them.

Rog only updated the Utsusemi counter.... but my friend still needs the original FFXIStyle & FFXICartography files....

I always tho 1skill=2eva=4agi but now im confused.

1 Skill = 1 Evasion = 2 AGI, basically.

Rog only updated the Utsusemi counter.... but my friend still needs the original FFXIStyle & FFXICartography files....

Use FFXIStyle > apply Rog's

Was doing the ASA mission "Enemy of the Empire (II)" and had finished the fight against the galka/hume/taru and clicked the outcropping for CS. At the end of the CS I just get a black screen, chat log and everything still shows up and I can talk to people but it didn't load past that in 5+ minutes. Friend on LS says its a common problem with ASA missions when using windower.

Now when I try loading ffxi without windower it begins to load, spazzes out then I get a PoL message saying 3D has failed to initialize and suggests my computer doesn't have the required specs to run ffxi.

Any ideas on how to get around one of these things so?

Only way is close FFXI and reload it without windower for those CSs.

The vanilla POL can't handle background resolutions different than 512x512 1024x1024 and 2048x2048, you can solve this by running the FFconfig and let it set the regular values. When you can load the game with windower again just set the resolution you like with the windower gui.

T4ga nukes are in the dats due to certain NMs having access to them, but there are no scrolls (yet), as they won't be added until future updates when we get access to the spells.
