Rana has a TP accuracy bonus so I would think you would need more attack and strength than that amount of accuracy you have. O/B kotes over enkidu's, Aesir over Hollow, whatever your YGK hat is over somen, STR ring over Ulth etc.
I basically geared it like Yukki with extra focus on attack and then only went back to add any accuracy gear if necessary, though it is also mostly limited to relatively weak things so again - STR & ATK.
1) I would.
2) Each one is different. ZR I'd put around 390-400. SSR and AR have somewhat higher (perhaps +20). BR I think depends on which side chariot you kill.
3) I'd do Zhayolm or Bhaflau first. ZR because it's completely predictable, BR because you get tons of drops early on, mobs are easy, and you can let the big numbers you can hit on the rampart mobs distract you from the low pop/drop rates. ZR boss is far easier for new groups, though. BR can mess you up with Homing Missile if you're not good at pulling the gears.
I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or too lazy, but restarted playing ffxi again and downloaded the latest windower. I go to run it but not working, just get a blank gray box that I can click cancel.
Anywhere better than Terrigan to kill beasts? Such an enormous clusterfuck of people there all the time, and no one wants to team up, so I only get 30~ kills/firesday.
Tired of playing Fafnirabbit.
Uleguerand Range for Beast kills. You can slaughter the tigers and bunnies up there very easily.
Sync to 10 and go to Windy to kill rabbits. Soooooo many rabbits. Can get a hundred within an hour easy peasy.
Also the buffalo!
In similar fashion, a trial question myself...whats good place for 200 vermin fireday/weather? I've been doing Dragonfly in Meri Mountains [S] and they are super easy, just not many pops and spread far apart, and sometimes goblins or rafflesia will come over and say hi. Anything better short of level syncing into a chigoe burn?
I prefer Biddybugs in Jugner Forest [S] at J-4/J-5. There are seven in and around the hollow up there and they die easily (and profitably), perfect for solo kill speed given the 5 minute respawn rate.
rng and whm can use octave fully active as well. If you get either to 80 it seems like something fun to have. I dont know why they're starting that nm this late though. They get to miss out on other stuff they could be doing(like enjoying a fully active octave) because they decided to camp it late.
Also. can anyone please explain exactly why a gimp sj like /sam is being paraded around by dancers? /drg and /war seem like they would do far more even halfassedly than some shitty meditate every 3 minutes.
brd 80 able to solo em yet?(not 80 on it yet. just asking incase i can finally solo my t1 for my brd character)
40% damage(with abyssite) and a few miscellaneous pieces of HP gear isn't going to compare to pdif caps getting easier and easier to hit and weapon base damage continually increasing on old mobs(and current abyssea mobs/etc) for real DD. At 80, MNK does 2/3 the damage of a kraken DRK during a zerg.. I can't see it not pulling ahead by 90. It might be competitive in abyssea(or even ahead by a little), provided of course that the mobs don't resist souleater, but it's certainly not coming anywhere close anywhere else. It's not like kraken drk will far surpass anything at 90/96.. granted it'll take forever to die, like the age of samurais and paladins.
thorny was the 40% you posted from the HP enhancement with abyssite?
cause my RDM went from 850~1100 ish, which is about a 30% boost
and failure i think thorny meant that by the 10lv. correct?
