Any noteworthy reason for getting heca feet/body uncursed? Majority of new gear outdoes it in most situations now.

It's pretty straightforward:

Install FFXI on your 360, and somewhere along the way it will ask you for your gamertag.

On the off chance that you have more then 1 person who has a gamertag on your 360, make sure you use the correct one.

If you screw it up, you can un-link and reset it by calling the Playonline phone ###.

When I changed the account that I had linked to my gamertag, it took a total of 5 minutes talking to the person to unlink the old tag and link the new one and log in. Dude stayed on the phone the whole time to make sure it worked right.

It's easy

I was tryin for a few min last night, but it wouldn't link it, just let me get to POL main menu before telling me my gamertag was unlinked. ("I thought I did that" lol). It's been a good 2 years since I had a copy on 360, just figured there's something simple I'm missing. I'll try again later 2nite.

Are there any pin spots besides the broken tree in Beau (Present)? I saw a link to some spots on Kaeko's site, but I cannot access it unless I have a LJ account.

The feet are best for DRG and the body isn't bad until you get Noct/Ares. Noct v Heca is very close since it pits 0.5-1% Crit + 1% TA v 2STR.

Kinda bored and looking to start a new magian trial. Looking towards scythes, which begs the question: whats the best scythe to use these days. I'm using perdu, but I'm sure there is something better. Any suggestions on what would be a step up?

Try input /ma, not just ma. I'm not sure what might've changed with windower since I played so idk. Also, you're missing semicolons on the waits

What's the best bang for your buck as far as duo-farming Ancient Beastcoins? i.e. most beastcoins per run? Really want a boxer's mantle and loquacious earring and just don't feel like dropping 500k+ on each one.

My available jobs: Dnc, Blm, Rdm, Whm, Brd, Mnk, Thf, Pld
Other person's available jobs: Nin, Sam, Drk, Mnk, Blm, Whm

I assume we'll end up being told either a Nin+Rdm strat or a dual Blm strat, but I'm not sure at all about specific zones to aim for. Clearing for Omega pop sets would be a plus, but totally just in it for the ABCs.

Also re: the above--I don't think "input /wait 2" does anything, does it? Don't you just have to say "wait 2" without the "input" for it to be a windower wait, else it just sends ALL of the commands at once?

I tried using a pause command today and it crashed my POL (//input /ja "Pianissimo" <me>; pause 1; input /ma "Mage's Ballad II" <p3>" typed directly into the chat window while trying to mostly-afk BR ramparts)--I've heard it was having some issues but didn't know it was THAT severe. XD I'd stay away from it. Your mileage may vary of course.

Pretty much, except you can't go "redemption(penitence)" like that, there's a huge difference between the two. Penitence is down about equal to the double attack scythe and redemption is the second best. Leaving out apoc and where "other junk" is penitence and the double attack scythe I had it looking like this (assuming sword strap for everything except redemption using pole).

/sam: OAT > redemption = 5 hit STP > str > other junk
/nin: OAT > redemption > str > 6 hit STP > other junk

Trying to re-quest RDM af boots. I went to lower jueno and "all memories of the red mage artifact quest have been erased!"

I then went to - "Speak with Curilla (Chateau d'Oraguille); She gives you an Old Pocket Watch (key item)" but just got a CS and stuff about sword trial. Do I need to re-do The Crimson Trial for fencing degen before I can do boots?
