Has anyone discovered if there's a "trick" to the shadows on T3 VNMs, or is it just 100% luck?

I have one at the diabolos tower inside, it's like a 3min walk from both beauc/xarc markings and completely safe. Just a thought, not sure if you have a seperate xarc mule. Alternatively, put it at the closest tower to markings?

Have heard people say that popping them in specific locations in zones has higher chance for a shadow, could be myth though. edit: ie; For clarity purposes, (this isn't factual) popping it in Northern ERon_S, compared to Southern ERon_S yeilds better chance for shadow.

Oops, meant to type it only affects the dmg/tick. It's dmg+1/tick. And I've personally tested it, defense down is the same.

Each addon has 2 BCNMs (one halfway through, one as the last mission) that are pretty unsoloable
